Better! New content!Just like console versions of Odyssey were coming?
Not less.healthy games get ported to more platforms.
ouchJust like console versions of Odyssey were coming?
This is not good news for anyone.
I don't even know why I'm surprised.
I should of expected this out of Frontier.
Now it's Elite that is the scam and not SC or NMS.
Who would of guessed.
Thanks for leading me on for the last 7+ years. Definitely appreciated.
So, Frontier scammed you out of your money... by not allowing you to pay them money?I don't even know why I'm surprised.

Console servers of ED:Horizons is the same as with PC´s, I have seen many console CMDRS in Horizons system chats. When Console servers get shut down do all console player discoveries get deleted?
That's another thing to ask.
Sooo, you've been playing since 2015 - seven years ago - and can continue to play just without Odyssey (something you've not paid for), and you think all that's a bigger scam than Star Citizen?I don't even know why I'm surprised.

Have you tried playing THAT on a console? (Or a PC? Or... anything?)
Good god. I 100% understand the disappointment and hurt, but the level of hyperbole going on is ridiculous.
No doubt. But a game shrinking is not typically indicative of a bright future. It's probably good news for Frontier's bottom line; there is a lot of work they won't be doing. It's just not good for their customers.
Much of that work that now isn't required would undoubtedly have involved a lot of optimization that would have made the game a much better experience on PC.
And what happens when the profiles get deleted?Console servers of ED:Horizons is the same as with PC´s, I have seen many console CMDRS in Horizons system chats.
So console servers will stay on as long as there is ED:Horizons on PC, I would bet.
This is THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS.Not gonna lie, I'm super angry at you guys. Letting two entire platforms die is a shame. But now you milked us long enough to drop us. Not only that, you force us to buy a PC if we wanna keep being a part of the journey (hardware is super expensive these days, but hey, doesn't matter, huh?) and you say you don't have anything to announce in terms of transfers for those who could potentially do so? You are looking into ways to do that? You had months of time doing that and now this... Letting us drop, not even offering the slightest solution, instead ripping apart great communities.
Nothing but broken promises, thanks for nothing
Sadly signing off for ever. o7
I dunno.It's a real poser isn't it:
Are console owners going to buy new a product which the developers has ceased to develop? Hmmm
Are present console commanders going to stick around in large numbers with their inferior product? Hmmm
Are Frontier going to shut down the console servers when numbers dwindle sufficiently? Hmmm
It might be for the good of the game, but it's not for the good of XBox and Playstation commanders.
