Powerplay Contested Systems

Simpel Question:

In the expansion view on the galactic powerplay map, is there any easy way to tell witch systems exactly are cotested?

Becouse it's a pain or nearly impossible to find out just by looking in the given map modes for me...

I thought it said so in the power play galaxy map option, if you hover the mouse over the system in question?

Yes it says "7 contested systems"...

But if I want to know, witch systems exactly and in witch power sphere they are, how much CC income they generate, I have to search manually in the galaxy map witch is kind of complicated becouse I have to click to all possible systems that are in the potential 10ly radius...

There is no way of doing it in game. I find my answers using eddb's data dropped into a database of my own, as that allows me to query these kinds of things.

Name the systems you're curious about and I'll try to tell you which systems they are contesting.

That's a great move Martin! I have not the power for such deeds :)

Databases are great tools - unfortunatly totally beyond my horizon. It would be great if PowerPlay had a bit more ingame data-base query functions...

If you could hlep me out, I'd be greatful. I am curious about all current preperations that contest other systems, becouse I have set myself the mission to overwatch the power-play happenings of all powers each cycle. This cycle there are especially many of thos so called "weaponized" preperations.

Delaine Preps: LAMAKU; YUROR
Grom Preps: FUSANG; KURUAGES
Hudson Prep: LHS 250
Winters Prep: HIP 41529
Lavigny-Duval Prep: HIP 23641; 69 G. CARINAE

I know this is quite a list and my interests are not more special in one direction or the other. I perfectly understand if this is to much asked. If you could then limit your search to the systems with the most contested:
LAMAKU (12 contested systems)
69 G. CARINAE (7 contested systems)
LP 806-8 (7 contested systems)
LHS 250 (5 contested systems)

that would be great!

CS/Prep ; Contests ; power ; CC value of contested system

When the power field is blank, that system is already contested

Btw, are you on any of the discords?

Great stuff! Just what is the number at the end - for CC value it's a bit strange?

And yes, I am also on the discord of Kumo-Crew - but I try to keep this as objective as I can - with maybe a bit of personal flavor.

I think the official forums may profit from a bit of actual powerplay discussion. So the general opinioin that powrplay is utterly broken and dead might be adjusted a bit. Maybe I am trying to paint dirty diapers as blossoming roses here... but, hey..the diapers are only slightly ... aw forget it. I mean powerplay is still a good thing.

edit: is there any possibility to learn how to use EDDB for such results?

It's the CC value of each system. So, Yuror would contest Bipera, which generates 5 CC for Yuri Grom. All told Yuror contests 29 CC (just sum all of them)

So do I read it right, that Hudsons prep attempt at LHS 250 would hurt himself the most, contesting himself in 9 systems for 48 CC whilst only 3 Mahon systems for 22 CC and two LYR systems for 15 CC?

edit: I think contesting himself is not really possible. Zachary just has no gain, right?

Correct. Since it's a Hudson prep, it will just result in no gained income from those systems, and then contesting Mahon for 22 and LYR for 15 CC respectively.
