Coop Enhancements, a few ideas.

I came to play again after a year or two of a break from the game and the state of the coop is still VERY poor.
Some ideas that could improve it would be:

1 - Ability to share ANY mission with wing/crew, spliting the rewards. The shared missions could spawn increased/harder enemies.
Atm the wing missions sometimes are difficult to get (RND) and they are... very very basic.

2 - Option to give a friend credits and modules. Its a multiplayer game and I feel I'm playing alone instead with my friend.


3 - Possibility to use the AFMU and Synthesis for the gunner. This would give the role more things to do while releasing the inconvenience of dealing with clunky menus during a fight.

4 - Distribute the materials/data collected to all crew members, maybe a random chance or wathever system.

5 - Replicate the Helm HUD to the other crew members. They can't see anything from inside the ship. These little things adds up to the whole experience.


Its imposible to progress while you're a gunner/figther crew.
 
All good ideas, which will propably never be implemented.
Go mining solo, citizen!

I also doubt about any improvement really. Wings and multicrew were released 5 years ago and the only thing they did was add wing bounty hunting and mining.
It's really sad.
I don't understand why FD does not improve on what we already have, but they keep adding new half backed features to be forgotten forever.
Whenever I play I see the potential of this game, and it could be easily the best game of all time but FD seems to not figure it out.

Its imposible to progress while you're a gunner/figther crew.
1. Wing missions are plentiful if you're allied and the system is in an appropriate state (boom for trade missions, conflict for massacre missions, lockdown for pirate missions).
2. Passing modules to friends isn't supported but it is very easy to pass credits to friends.

Oh, we will check if the missions spawn more often on the war state systems.
I know its possible to drop commodities for credits transfer but, it feels odd. If I want to give you money I transfer it to you, it would be weird if I buy a TV, give it to you and then you sell it :ROFLMAO:.

I was referring to transferring credits, not commodities. If you wasn't to transfer credits, accept wing trade missions and do the mission yourself while your friend is in the wing. You pay the commodity cost for the mission and your friend gets the credits.

Making missions in general paying more regrding of your ranks (if you're elite you are more paid than a harmless player) to finally have a decent payout regarding the time or kills required.
Aka no more:
  • deliver 5k+ tons of -whateveryouwant- to x: reward 2M... or 10 if rep is maxed.
  • kill 90 pirates: reward 5 or 9M.
Missions payouts are just a joke, this is why people went to mining that triggered gold rushes then nerfs and now we go back to stupid payouts.
If activities were balanced, we could have avoid all this mess.

If they were balanced, we could. Unfortunately a few are way overpaid (mining the worst offender of them), so any activity that doesn't pay one new A-rated anaconda per evening is deemed worthless. But the general problem is not new, it just got even easier over time.

IMO the problem with the kill 90 pirates is the timeframe - 20 hours is the same as 2-4 hours for many, if it were 30 hours you'd have 2 evenings to complete. It is not as if the faction doesn't want the same faction pirates again killed the next day.

The payout needs to be balanced around the items you can buy. If a mission pays more than the ship you need to complete it, the issue should be clear. On the other hand inflated payouts can make ship and module choice irrelevant, as you can just afford the stuff you want.

I Agree, but still, the reward based on the time you do it (and i don't count the relogs to go back ez to the signal source where you can find 5 to 8 of them) is too low. If you don't have rep i can understand the price but when you"re allied, and have an elite rank it's an injure to be paid like players that have lower rank than you. Because what's the point to be elite if you have no bonus? (shinrarta? go to LYR to have reductions :p ).
2 evening to kill 90 pirates would be ok, but it HAS to pay more (not like mining which is indecent indeed) and not pay you like you're just a piece of gargabe :cry: .

massacre missions are messed up, wing massacre pay more for less kills, for every wingmember - which makes the killing even faster
