Coriolis.io - A new ship builder and comparison tool

I think I might have to steal the 'Retrofitting changes' look, nice and neat :)

As for the padded 'blocks' that going to be really tricky to do given the variance between ships, etc.

I was thinking a DIV with a tiling background (I haven't looked at your source admittedly), then it could be a percentage based variable size.

So...

Standard -> Internal -> Hardpoints -> Utility Mount

OR

Hardpoints -> Utility Mount -> Standard -> Internal

Speak now or forever hold your peace.

+1 for consistency with in-game layout.

Hardpoints - Utility Mounts - Standard - Internal

Standard -> Internal -> Hardpoints -> Utility Mount

Within Elite there really isn't just one screen where the entire order of fittings is shown, just tabbed menus. This version flows better and is not negatively affected by any comparison to in-game layouts. It also has the advantage of being the incumbent choice.

+1 to this mode. I'll back this with cookies.

Anything for cookies!

In all seriousness, I feel that the original order flows better, looks better, and is what users were familiar with. So I am switching back. Experiment over.

If I can only make 50% of you happy, then it's going to be 50% + me that are happy :p

I see that the throw to scroll has been rolled back. Nice! However the tap on top (iOS) to scroll up is now missing...

Fixed!

Jesus, Safari and iOS is picky about scrolling. Apparently this has been a known issue in iOS Safari since 5.2... Anyway, fixed now!

@cmmcleoud I'm assuming that you are waiting for data to be collected to add the new power stuff. Is there anywhere we can go to contribute this data? (I think I saw something like this earlier in the thread but I'm too lazy to go back through it lol).

Good job. Original order is spot on.

love this builder and how detailed it is, very nice for min/maxing your loadout and allowing us to save/load builds on the fly :)

any plans on adding the unique PP modules? and being able to set the discount on each module would be great too :)

awesome job none the less! +rep
