Corrupt Save File.....?

Im pretty sure that this is the problem..
When I click on open or solo play, I get my spining ship and then, bam crash to desktop.

I can launch the game into the main menu,
I can launch toturoials (makes me think I can rule out everything except the save file)

Is there anything I can do?
Ive logged a ticket. but its the weekend, and i wanted to play :/

The only advise I can give is to validate game files (upper right corner in the launcher), restart your computer or take a walk while you are waiting for support. They usually respond quite fast, even on weekends. Sorry that I can't be more helpful, hope you get it sorted out soon.

I really hope support can give you option to use some of the older save states. It indeed sounds like corrupted save file.

Hope you solve the problem fast.

Or worse case uninstall and reinstall - your game save is sited with Frontier in the cloud, so a complete wipe will not make you lose any progress.

If still not good log a ticket with support.

Assuming PC platform - check that no drivers have been updated since you last played. There have been cases of video driver updates breaking some games in the past, it is probably a long shot though.

If using Steam - try validating the game cache as well.
