Any idea what this is ?
unfortunately i had to disconnect and couldn't investigate.
Are they persistent or more like USS (semi persistent) ?

The installation is permanent, a new asset for the factions in that system to fight over.

The megaship is semi-permanent. I believe they still have nav-logs that will tell you their future destinations if you scan the data uplinks?

There used to be just one or two Naphtha-class tankers in the galaxy. Now there are (presumably) dozens of the things, along with dozens more of all the other megaship classes.

Correct regarding the installations. There was already a huge amount of Naphtha-class tankers in the game, way more than 2. As far as I am aware Cannon only tracked the 2 that have a plan.

Devs have added hundreds (Thousands?) more ships to the game, not all of them have flight plans.

I expect Canonn just tracked the ones someone had told them about, and that wasn't all of them. We had three tankers (two Naphtha, one Aquarius) with a flight plan hanging around Colonia region since 3.1, for example.
