Couldn't comprehend what I was seeing

Sorry I didn't find this earlier, but this is a relevant piece of information.

17 Draconis was of particular interest because of the White star with a gas giant that had an Earth like orbiting it; all naturally generated by the stellar forge.
It was the first test system that an Orbis station was added into. We used it during the E3 2014 press demonstrations.

And if you go "down" about 100 ly you'll find another isolated station : New Yembo.
One of the first community goal i think was to bring stuff to the original Yembo so as to build that new station.

2 perfect bases for explorer, and they definitely should have some rares !

I had a similar experience (the coming home anxiety/comfort dichotomy) after a trip to go see Betelgeuse in person. The warp in made me flinch (was convinced I was going to hit it- filled the screen.. and beyond)

I dont recommend ever trying to fuel scoop Betelgeuse. Its so big (diameter of saturn or so) that even at 24c.. you wont get out of its heat zone in time before cooking. Badly.

Just a fellow explorer FYI if you visit a supergiant Out There.

I was just at 17 Draconis and decided to visit the White-Dwarf at the very edge of the system and a couple of things surprised me:

1. There were lots and lost of ships spawning and droping from SC inside both stars;
2. The White-Dwarf was labeled as a "Military Base".

Very bizarre!
