Ok, not sure how it happened but somehow my COVAS has begun talking in French and I have no idea how to change it back. I'm not even sure why it would have changed from the stock settings, I somehow managed to accidentally open a page once (not even sure how that happened) and was scrolling through the different available voice profiles but I never made a purchase. A few missions later my ship started speaking French just out of the blue.
I have some other issues going on with my X52 Pro, move the flight control wrong and it manages to activate all of the toggles at once and sends the ship tumbling for a second. It was after one of those little hiccups that the language reset but I have found nothing in the options page to change the COVAS language.
I just want to be able to understand what my ship is saying. I will tackle the joystick issue later.

I don't even know how I got that page the first time. I fly on a laptop sitting in a reclining sofa while balancing stick, throttle and mouse. Apparently the mouse just happened to catch a series of dumb luck clicks to get on the COVAS page while I was moving around. That was the one place I hadn't looked for a setting.
