I've managed to play my first CQC death match but when I die I do not respawn inside my ship...I'm just out in space and I can hear people firing at my ship. It blows up and then it does the respawn countdown. I'm still in space, not in my ship !

Well... that's...cheating?

EDIT

I've played a match and it was good, but are these loading times a fixture or will the levels be cached for faster loading? It's a lot of waiting.

CQC is freaking awesome, did i say that already, if not, its awesome. Its going to be so cool to see tournaments with this, like in eve. With time this will become even more awesome.
Exactly what ED needed, short awesome fights in close combat.

Not sure where to report Beta 1.4 PC bugs, but here goes:

Time and date of issue: Now

Description: In station (Jahn Dock, Momoirent) with Repair All 10 cr showing, selecting the repair option, shows brief standby message, plays repair sound, but keeps showing Repair All 10 cr, even after selecting it several times.

Just played a few matches with Teezo and I have to say.... that was magnificent fun. Intense, exciting, glorious, fun. LOVED IT. Fast, furious, occasionally confusing but overall: fun. I was garbage but that's fine. I'll improve... ish

Did you downloaded the Lifetime Pass launcher ? It was my problem too, because when I ordered and paid the LEP, there was nothing to download and I thought that LEP is just something what is enabled in my account at FD. Just today I found that I need actually to download a new launcher and do a new verification of my account. After this, the CQC beta is available also from my older Steam launcher.

so, do we now know how the cqc networking works on pc? is it peer2peer crap or client/server?

if it's peer2peer, which i'm afraid it is, how does the game determine who's the server and what happens when the server leaves the game?

also, can you access the cqc queue from within the main game or do you have to quit to the main menu?

What does "assign" mean and how does one qualify? My backer rewards allowed me to choose any starting option, I picked the exploration Cobra (no regrets ). Do I still get an Imperial Eagle? Or only people who picked the Imperial Bounty Hunte starting option? And what about those who did but sold their starting Eagle in the meantime?

Just found my Imperial Eagle : waiting for me in the heart of Imperial space at Liabeze! Can't wait to fly it!
