So i was wondering if any of the progress we make in CQC in the beta will carry over to the the full release.

Could some kind CMDR tell me how big the Beta is? I have limited internet and don't want to go over :/

The folder is ~4.92 GB but if you copy your FORC-FDEV-D-10XX* folder and rename the copy to PUBLIC_TEST_SERVER before starting you'll save yourself a significant amount of downloading.
* XX depends on when you bought in. (00 for Alpha, 01 for Premium Beta, 02 for Standard Beta etc.)
One change I've noticed which I can't find in the enormous changelog is that when coming out of FSD after an interstellar jump, the throttle drops to zero.
Previously my ship used to launch forth into the sun.

Hey, just logged into the beta and noticed a couple of things so thought I'd ask if they are intentional:
My combat rank has been lowered, my ship's loadout is from ages ago (not what I am currently using in non Beta) and my finances are way down. Is there a reason for the off sink? Not a complaint, but I wanted to know before diving in much farther. Cheers
Thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't miffed or anything, just curious and it's all good. The old loadout is perfectly viable.
Cheers and looking forward to a little testing. Also I noticed I didn't get the special Eagle. I assume it's because I sold my Freagle at an earlier save point. Again, just curious.
Hm... So, is it only people with the lifetime pass that have access to beta builds? Any other way?
Anyone who backed at Standard Beta, Premium Beta, Alpha or already has a Lifetime Expansion Pass should have access.
If you don't fit into any of those categories then purchasing a Lifetime Expansion Pass is the only way to get access to the remaining betas of Season 1.
