Current community goal is bugged

Nothing happens after you jump into combat zone.
No option to choose side.
There are literally combat zones inside a station area like onyx station that can just obliterate you within few seconds if you accidentally hit them. Lost 20m thx game.
Turned in 10 destroyed ships and got 0 reward for that. Where do I turn in those rewards? at station I picked up power play or one written in transactions menu?
After attacking opposing faction it still doesn't seem to give rewards and such.
It's like game is not registering anything what I do, not even reputation with opposing faction is dropping.

Yes, the UI for people who are not pledged to either side is completely missing, but you can still get CG credit.
You can just start shooting who you want.
Stations have almost always obliterated people who shot them - so don't shoot them.
You don't need to turn anything in. However, check the mission board CG view, because the left-hand transactions panel updates extremely slowly.
CZs don't give many rewards.
PPCZs don't involve reputation.

I've strafed Onyx Bastion at least 6 times so far. I've only gotten warnings. Maybe it's because I'm allied with the Federal Congress. Maybe they'd become more forgiving as you turn in the bonds.

Same for Obsidian Directive, Megaships seem more forgiving, while outposts promptly retaliate.

Megaships are so kind that allow you to repair and restock even if you are fighting for the opposing faction.

Yeah, that one was confusing at first...watching the enemy dock at the station (and making me wait for it to be done).

Obsidian Directive killed me three times while I was spouting frags. I was dead by the time I read the warning. When I switched to another ship with Concord Cannons, I got off with the "watch what you're doing" warning twice without being fired at. Maybe the stations and megaship are real sticklers for how many projectiles hit them.

I think how powerful each hit is also counts, I seem to remember you could be much more wayward with standard weapons than engineered ones.

Never got killed by the station, got a couple of warning but avoided shooting at
just wait for the ship to move away from the line of sight with the station or move yourself around to remove the station from the equation

Turrets and or Smart Rounds should help.

seem the warning is triggered by number of hit in a "time window", frag are 12 rounds per shot, maybe you got 12+ "virtual" warning in one second and only one message.

For sure, regardless of whether the criterion is absolute damage or number of hits in a time interval, an unlucky shot at Megaship/Station with a Frag is way to ensure a not-so-desired response.

NPC often maneuver heading towards the megaship/station, can be annoying but allow some fun time... sub-target drives and let them crash on the station, shame most ot times they just start bouncing around and do not explode.
