Damaged ship computer - Funny messages

I think it would be a great introduction into the game if the ship computer could be damaged. This came after a nice reminder of my SAS 'Lore' VIEW

Anywhoo - Just thought it would be fun to come up with some interesting and funny things the computer might say when damaged. Also google Max Headroom for the odd giggle

For example
"Frameshift Drive Retracted"

I'll let you good people come up with some suggestions and maybe one day our ships computer will malfunction!

Awooga, Awooga, red alert. This is not a drill...

OK. Warning, heat damage anomaly deployed.

Edit: not a damage thing, but I've always wanted to hear "you have reached your destination" after the last jump off a plotted route, or on touching down somewhere.

Get HCS. ;)

Rude alert! Rude alert! An electrical fire has knocked out my voice recognition unicycle! Many Wurlitzers are missing from my database. Abandon shop! This is not a daffodil. Repeat, this is not a daffodil.

Had to get in here with a red dwarf quote :D

We already have the weird stuttering and such when getting hit hard with EM weapons... maybe amplify the affect a little :D

I'm 97.2%* sure that HCS A.L.I.X. actually says "friendship drive engaged" in hyperspace on occasion.

If so, that's the best easter egg ever.

I am of two minds on this, on the one hand it might give some personality to the voice in your ship going further than the fixed lines we know, on the other hand this would almost certainly imply some kind of synthesis of the spoken words instead of prerecorded lines, something approaching an AI.

"This COVAS is installed on board of the top 1% of spaceships."

The ship computer could start singing, for example "Daisy" from 2001, 99 Bottles of beer on the wall, The wheels on the bus go round and round, etc. Basically any song that could trigger "space madness". :D
