The tree that the brachi is eating from is not new. Its simply Tree #2 that we got in the summer update.
I am waiting to see if remains the same or if they subtly turned it to a new feeder option. I think people will give up on feeders if this functions as one. And effectively as well!
I don't really see why this is negative. Those two were by far the most awesome species they could have chosed and the most unexpected for most people.
One of them brings a new building and attraction and the other will be free roaming, contrary to what most people thought. That's fine enough for me.
Ah, if only they confirmed Pteranodons will have skins, needs and be targetable (to kill) once scaped like the rest of the dinos...
There's people (particularly on the subreddit) that were hoping for more is all, better to dash those hopes before they grow too much.
I know alot of people are excited for the compies and pteranodon but I could care less. The only things I am interested in is what new decor/buildings/tools we will get. Luckily this update/dlc seems that it will be focused heavily on that kind of stuff with bathrooms being added and a new JP styled buildings so I dont mind the lack of new dinosaurs. Also people are finally getting their movie skins that they have been wanting so it isnt like they havent put in the effort in terms of the dinosaurs. I was surprised to see JP3 brachis maybe we will get JP3 ankylosaurs as well. If not its no biggie but just a possibility.

Is it weird that one of things that excites me most is the JP3 Spinosaurus pen fencing? Seriously, that was some heavy metal fencing and it's so cool we get to use it!

Ya I am curious to see if they changed the mechanics for it too. Some people have speculated that raptors might be able to climb out now and it has been confirmed that compies will be free roaming in normal paddocks so perhaps that chick wire looking fencing in the stegosaur photo might be needed to keep small dinosaurs inside. If that is true we could make enclosures where small dinosaurs can cross into other areas but keep larger dinos in one spot.
for me whatever the new fences, buildings or dino skins that we will be getting (also the new JP UI interface), i hope the skins or new models may be used with current ones and not interchangeable. so it will add some vatiation to our parks. because for sure we won't get decorations like PZ but at least we'll have some new customization options. also in the management side maybe they'll add some depth to it as well. toilets are here and vehicles may be attacked (or i hope destroyed, and staff killed) so there'll be penalties or law suits and an inherent risk involved now. wooooh super excited for this. fingers crossed on a bigger nublar area as well if the site is the OG park in 1993. 
I hate Reddit, I really do. The JWE subreddit is pretty terrible. What they will do is hype themselves up on speculation and when the DLC is released and they don't get things Frontier never promised they will start the disgusting whining.
It's not a negative. We are getting so many new game assets with DLC and then you have all the amazing stuff we will get in the free patch. The DLC has the movie skins, some of the movie dinosaurs have obviously had slight redesigns. Then you have all the new JP themed buildings. Getting the compys as free roaming and the aviary with the Pteranodons is more then enough. This game has plenty of dinosaurs as it is. Anyone whining cause there are only two new animals in the DLC is just being ridiculous.
Frontier has been working on this DLC before they officially released the game. This guy says he saw them working on the Ford explorer all the way back he was first invited to the studio and was under NDA. I imagine that means back when the game was going to be released.
Sorry to break it to you, dinosaurs climbing out of fences is not a thing. It has been confirmed not to be in this update.
But there are a ton more stuff to be added, and as far as I know feature focuses are often Patch exclusive content. So we might hear of a ton of free stuff to be added in the next 3 weeks!
They said there will be no climbing added this update.
