Almost didn't make it today.

Ooooh damn I can't wait to play this DLC and load in the rail tour !! <3
Just can't wrap my head around the fact that this update seems super ultra huge and will change the game totally, at least for me ! :0

Love to the Dev team, the wait has been huge and you'll deserve the money from my first-bought DLC ! x)

The final countdown!

Also, a redditor has brought up information on tours you may like. Vehicular destruction is extended to tours, where herbivore dinosaurs would tolerate the vehicles, carnivores would go out of their way to attack the tour itself!

Would Compsognathus be one of those carnivores that would attack the tour vehicles?

It would be rather bizarre that the tiny carnivore would be able to destroy the Ford Explorer.

Hard to say, we never had a dinosaur as small as a compsognathus in the game (they are barely visible!)
But if I were to guess, they would make the utmost minimum damage. We saw a ranger vehicle get totalled by a triceratops, and a velociraptor would deal 5% damage from a light attack. I wish to find that out when the DLC launches.

I doubt frontier would put this but I could imagine compys puncturing tyres on tour vehicles, or jumping inside if tourists open the doors/windows abit like monkeys do on safari tours, something like that?

And you know what that little vehicle symbol is? A Ford Explorer tour vehicle.

You know I don't really care if it doesn't look exactly like the original Ford tour vehicle. I know Ford doesn't give out licensing easily anymore. Just give me something that kind of looks like it. I don't need 100% screen accuracy on a tour vehicle.

Here is a little fun fact. In the movie they used Ford Explorers and in the novel it was a Toyota Land Cruiser. In the novel a lot of the investors were Japanese.

Frontier could go to Toyota and ask for the rights to use the the 1989 Toyota LC or maybe the 1993 version cause you know JP happened in 1993. Then just paint it up to make it look like the 1993 tour vehicle. It would be a nice nod towards the novel, though a lot of JP movie fans might not get it. But if they explained it they would probably be ok. It's better than just using the same park staff jeeps as a tour.

Anyway I am sure the Ford Explorer tour vehicle will be in the DLC. But my idea would be a nice backup plan.

Hopping into tour vehicles maybe. Puncturing tires? No. It takes a lot of strength and a very sharp pointed object to puncture a full inflated tire. The best tool for it would be an ice pick. Then you just need the strength.

Compys wouldn't have the strength. The best they could do is get some spit on the tire from trying to bite it.
