[INDEPENDENT] Dedicated Private MOBIUS PVE Groups for the PC, PS4, XBOX with over 50,000 Commanders.

Teamspeak is ok if you have a handful of people. But more than that and it's just chaos :D

IRC is quick and simple and can hold loads of people.

ill have a word with the forum admins to see if its something we can add.
on another note the group passes the 6600 mark.

Apologies for the unscheduled downtime. There was a problem with the server configuration which is now fixed.
I will have a serious talk with the server admins! ;)

Looks like just the sort of thing I'm after!

Decided to quit open, as I did not like to be reminded of humanity's ability to cause problems for others when given power over others.
What I do miss while playing Solo though is not ever running into players who are there just to travel through the universe in all its wonder.

An Ace Combat reference to boot too! Great game series, have some rep! :D

Request sent :) – Just found this group – it's great that I don't have to begin a tactical retreat when I spot a hollow square on my radar :D

This Episode Fozza is joined by Liam Rafferty founder of the Mobius PvE group, currently the largest player group in the game. Representing the Elite Dangerous Community (EDC) on Facebook is Smitty Jagerman . The Explorers group The First Great Expedition leave Alison Goodman close enough to civilisation to be able to join the show and finally flying the flag for the numerous Twitch TV groups out there we have Chris Meyers from Ctrl Alt Elite.

Not really sure how to use in-game comms yet but feel free to add me on there if you wish, I know a few have already. CMDR Ormsby is me if that's how you add people! My Steam name is NeilUK02

Dezzerus

New player, looking to learn how to make it in this amazing galaxy, without being peppered by lasers from other players constantly. So, I am definitely looking forward to joining up, and helping where I can, once I Learn the ropes myself first. :)

Hi guys - long time player and premium beta tester - but getting bored of playing solo all the time so hoping to join you guys and have some company.

Quick question before I sign up. Old time Elite player new to E:D. My first game was in Open and I spent a couple of fairly solitary hours milling about before getting blown up. Now, how do I tell if I'm being attacked by an NPC or a real person? This is obviously important as I wouldn't want to open fire on a human thinking they are an NPC?

Given I also haven't figured out the comms part of the UI yet,

:)

the NPC show up on your radar as a solid square, if the weapons are deployed then its a solid triangle, players show up as a hollow square and a hollow triangle with weapons deployed.
other signs are all npc pilots don't display the word CMDR where a normal player will have CMDR before their chosen name.

The NPC's will be a solid triangle on your radar, real players will be a hollow triangle. They'll also have the "CMDR" prefix. I could have that mixed up so anybody correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 99% sure that's how to tell. ;)

Throttling the Frameshift drive back, i approach the Coriolis Starport, smiling as the first part of my discovery journey is over.

Flipping the side panel open, raising hailing frequencies to the StarPort :

"StarPort Mobius, this is CMDR Zaphonicus Taurog of the First Order of the Belluvian Knights of the Empire requesting permission to Dock and Join, Over."

a short delay causes a small furrowed brow before comms link crackles open.

'Welcome CMDR Zaphonicus, your credentials are confirmed, Welcome to StarPort Mobius Home of Mobius Group, keepers of PvE. Please proceed to Docking Bay 41 where you will be met and debriefed prior to your final acceptance'
...
a warm shudder ripples through my spine, as if by reflex i approach the Starport, this time noticing the colours and structure more, as if a sense of awakening and new begining is dawning...
..
Flicking through the Starports services menu, i find what i'm looking for , a Pub, where i can get some good food, a few drinks and meet other Pilots to discuss and chat about what lies ahead.
..
Next stop 'The Princess Arissa' for a few cheeky JynNTonyx ....

Awesome to see all the new faces! I'm by no means a vet here, but if anyone wants to friend/message me with questions in-game I'll do my best to help you out:)

Hey, I haven't really played online much yet, would anyone be interested in grouping up? I've got an Asp and a T7 and I'm looking to make the money to get a Vulture.

I'm up for trading but I'm also really interested in getting my rank with the factions up, as I haven't done that yet. If anyone wants to group up and get bonus stuff while we get ranks that'd be cool! (Also I'm not 100% on how to rank up, I've heard conflicting things)

Anyway I'm Pinworm in game, feel free to add me :). If I don't reply it's because sometimes I watch Netflix while I trade, or play on my Nvidia Shield where typing is hard

Would be nice to get a mention in the newsletter when the group hits 10k members ;).

Enjoyed your interview on Lave Radio BTW Mobius; good stuff!
