I have just done something similar (Medium CZ in solo) and lost the Basilisk, too, but I destroyed all the hearts and delivered the killing blow.
There is something that ruins the payout, but at this point I would rule out both the tagging by a cap ship, and the killing blow (last night alone I got payment for 5 out of 6 Hydras, and I never dealt the killing blow, nor was I in a wing on 4 of the kills).

The bug is more insidious than expected. Incidentally, the instances themselves seem to bug very frequently, with no progress happening (although this is also very frequent in normal CZs, when missions do not progress).

Ah well... it's good for the experience.

You have to wait till after the "planned" final date there NOT automatic like paints as they dont exist in the game yet. (on your account)
the server scripts run After the planned date... and that date can be extended as late as the monday after if server load remains to high on friday -sunday..

Thanks for your response! (and to Cyber TX,too). Hopefully, someone will read them and have clarity before asking the question!

I am not interested in the rewards per se, I was trying to beat the record for the quickest complaint about the lack of reward!

I just had time for one session with 1 Hydra, 1 Medusa and some smaller goids this weekend. Before the CG i made 500M, but even that is faaaaaaaaaaaar away of Top10.

You dont loose bonds if you die. You still loose cargo and exploration data so its not a new insurance thing or anything.
It was a bug that arrived when odyssey launched. They haven't fixed it. I imagine they will probably say its not a bug now, rather than fix it.
Not all the top% are bug related bonds collected over time though. But quite a few will be.

Myself I handed in 3,221,560,000 for the CG. If I had kept the bonds I earned from the days before the CG activated in the same area I would have had 1,200,000,000 more. But I thought the bug had been addressed, silly me

14th On Inara Tharg War for the system page - very good for me

Edit : I also noticed the swarms don't work in the Cap Ship CZs. Is that intentional or a bug ?

They don't seem to work properly anywhere in HIP 22460, in any of the AX CZs or NHSSs. If you get hyperdicted on the way in they work fine, because when you fall out of witch space you're still outside HIP 22460 (in the system you were jumping from).

So, HIP 22460 is really special place - there are friendly swarms, invisible Hydras, and damage from nowhere upon entering CZ.
I visited this system 3 - 4 weeks ago, to find some Thargoid Probes in Overlook cargo bays, it was such a peaceful place, really empty and quiet.....

Yesterday I met swarm without interceptor, it was 5 - 6 minutes there, alone. NPC ships flew around it, with questionmarks above

Its strange when they launch from the interceptor they form the circular and spiral shapes then they move to the rear of the Interceptor and stay there.
Not that I mind so much it means I can use 4 Modified plasmas and a beam

I learned that with the bonds by coincidence - was killed and they were still there.

In my case i also got all the hearts, but i badly timed my shots at the end an i left it with 1% health - and the NPC got it before my gausses reloaded... it was a matter of 2s or so
