Summary
System: Tavgi
Station: Orchestral Falcon (Megaship, large pads available, 1,009 Ls from main star, 74.44 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Combat Bonds after fighting for Torval Mining Ltd in Conflict Zones
Time limit: 13th April 3309 @ 07:00 UTC

Description
The killing of Caine-Massey’s CEO has sparked conflict between the Federal corporation and Imperial rival Torval Mining Ltd.
A statement was issued by Senator Zemina Torval:
Caine-Massey is using its CEO’s death to excuse a deliberate strike against my company, damaging our share price and testing the will of our political connections. Torval Mining Ltd will defend its property, as well as the honour of the Empire, against this unjustified assault.
To support their combat operations, Torval Mining Ltd has called upon Imperial naval auxiliaries to report to the Orchestral Falcon.
The conflict has heightened political tensions between the Empire and the Federation. With the majority of superpower naval forces deployed to the Thargoid front line, system authority vessels around Tavgi have been placed on alert.
Senator Denton Patreus stated:
The Empire stands ready to shield its citizens, businesses and territories from attacks by foreign powers, xeno or otherwise.
As an additional incentive, Torval Mining is offering the following paintjobs to supporters:
  • The top 75% of participants will receive a Tactical Cobalt paintjob for the Imperial Fighter
  • The top 50% of participants will also receive a Asemic Black & Red paintjob for the Imperial Cutter
The two factions have set out week-long operations to take control of the system, which will begin on the 6th April 3309. If either side reaches the final target both campaigns will end immediately.
To be eligible for rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Combat Bonds at the Orchestral Falcon in the Tavgi system.
Please note that if you have any crew members, a proportion of your combat bonds will be automatically assigned to them. These combat bonds will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for these combat bonds when they are handed in. The proportion of combat bonds assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

Notes:
  • Competing with Tavgi Blue Life Inc CG
  • Orchestral Falcon is orbiting planet 3
  • Megaship services: Commodities Market, Repair, Restock, Refuel

Torval Mining Ltd only own 2 EDO settlements at war status at Tsim Binba.
Plus more owned by the other sides in the wars in Mwamen and Gautama.

With the likely effects on the results of those wars they might not last the entire CG length but probably won't need to.

This technically makes it an Odyssey CG, since it'll be decided entirely by availability of Odyssey features. Wahoo :)

I thought it has to be bonds from Torval Mining Ltd in order to count?

Edit: Oh, I get what you mean now. It's been too long since I took part in ground conflicts lol

You earn the same amount of credits no matter which side you're on or which side owns the settlements.
Go to a on-foot CZ High and you can earn up to 15M per round, about 6M for Med, and 2 to 3M for Low, given that you have the required skill and fully engineered equipments.
The payout is the same whether you are invading or defending.

Gautama has only Low Foot CZs
Mwamen has one medium CZ at Roh Reseach (probably still faster bonds than space CZs?)
Tsim Binba is still pending according to inara so I didn't check

And yet Torval is behind by a decent margin. That could change if more people realise about the ground CZs, but man, people really don't like Torval, do they? Feds usually win against the Empire anyway but this is impressive, ground CZs should make it easy to overcome.

In a way, having Torval suffer a dip in her profits (oh no!) in order to have the Federation slip further into insanity would be a funny strategic move from Imperial players, but it's not that, the Empire just cannot be bothered to fight for Torval. 10/10.

Depends on if they get High Intensity ground CZs in the pending conflict or not / if people set up more wars for Torval in other systems to get some later.

Anyone lugging Cytoscramblers around really have no high ground rejecting Torval for moral reasons.
Actually yes they do- since The King is probably the most honest and open of all the leaders- he does not lie, expects loyalty and gives back protection in kind, and can be deposed by someone who challenges him. If you look closely you can see the halo round his head*

Environmentally conscious in space is more about not wasting perfectly fine biomass by ejecting it out an airlock and having it float in the void where no one can make use of it. Every time they spaced a bunch of people in the Expanse I was like "Why? Don't you have mushrooms to feed? What a waste of air and biomass." So props to the Archon for fighting that. Say no to spacing! Eat Kumo!
