"Development Level >>"? Figuring out what all these numbers do.

So now we have to test everything! Come on Fdev TELL US SOMETHING.

What was a mistake?
What was reverted?
Was it everything?

Do stars and gas giants, ELW and WW gives us stuff still or not? DO I have to waste a WW to find out? what!
It was a mistake. Paul Crowther posted this today:

Apparently it will take up to 2 weeks to revert the change

I'd read that, that was my point, no detail on the what the mistake was, no detail on what reverting means, back to as it was 100%, how will they remove the economies when it takes building an installation to trigger it?

What do we do for 2 weeks while we wait for them to tells us it's done? Can I undo the unstarted test constructions I placed in my system without careful thought because this change had ruined my plans?

Maybe I'll just go play something else.

I am a product manager for a tech start up there is no way I could make changes like this and then pull them and expect my clients to do anything but swear at me!

Here’s some data:

Changing the market status of a station that didn’t change during the last week still caused the planet’s influence to be copied over just now. So, the reversion hasn’t happened yet.

I got my system tech level up to 39 and my Development Level up to 28. The Coriolis at the same planet as 3 Large Bio Research Settlements and a Relay in orbit has 105% High Tech economy.

The station is run by a Fed democracy faction. It sells 32 ships, with only the 3 Alliance C-ships, the Krait Mk II and the Type 10 Defender listed as unavailable. No Imperial ships, obviously. The Mandalay, Type 8 and Python Mk II are present.

Outfitting is missing a few scattered grades of things. 7a AFMUs. Class 3 fixed burst lasers. Class 7 fighter hangar. 7a hatch breaker limpets. 6a life support. Class 3 multicannon turrets. The 0D pulse wave analyzer. 8a and 8b sensors. 7b shield cell banks. 8a, 8c, and 7a thrusters.

There are 3 more open planetary slots below the Coriolis, so you’d better believe I’ll keep slapping down +HT structures.

With only 2 orbital slots I have no clue what this water world is useful for.

Meanwhile, I decided to build an extra refinery today (tonight) to see what the results of that would be after the (supposed) fix because the resupply rates of the station were woeful for any sort of large-scale construction and so far nobody else in the region appears to have put down a refinery station/system anywhere.

It just turned it into a dog's garbage useless triple economy despite Frontier's claim of "addressing the economy issue", so let that serve as a warning they either have not or it's the same situation again where it takes 50 hours (exaggeration) for everybody to get this updated through the server end as colonization being re-enabled. But I was planning to use my carrier for the further claims and then wait things out anyway, before more building, so the experiment won't hurt me too much short-term. (And there's another 3 planetary slots available for further construction on that planet anyway)

they did warn in advance that the revert may take up to two weeks though

Not happy with the FD communication.

They didnt even say what exactly it was that was rolled out and is now rolled back. If it was planetary economy influence, they got the timing wrong, because it wasnt "over the weekend".

In case it actually was the planetary influence, i am happy i didnt do a U-turn to chase the latest shiny object, but stuck to my plan.

Still looking...

Found the case again though where the landable icy planet atmo was neon. And it turns out, there are neon fertilisers.

Ammonia
?Argon (used to create nitrogen fertilizers, does that qualify?)
Carbon dioxide
Neon
Nitrogen
Sulfur (present in atmo as sulfur dioxide)
Atmosphere, phosphorus, etc..- It's all nonsense. In all the reports submitted by the commanders, there is only one common feature - BIOLOGICAL. Apparently, the presence of these signals gave an agricultural economy.

No.
Had a HMC planet with biological signs and an ammonia atmosphere and it did not turn agri.
It went from 1.0 agri to 1.6 agri after building an additional space farm, while having 1.15 Extraction added.
Expectation was it would go to 2x+.

Capital letters do not make your points any more valid.
We all know here that we know hardly anything. And that is a good approach to figuring out this stuff.
