Differnent sizes of coaster elements

I just had a cool little idea, and that is to have different sizes of the coaster elements. For example: If you have a pretty tall and fast coaster, and wanna put a loop in it, you probably dont want it to be a small little loop that will break your neck. Instead you could maybe have a choice of Small, Medium and Large loops (or whatever element you wanna use)! I would love to see that in the game![big grin]

Most coasters that are extremely tall and fast (in real life) dont have loops because that is dangerous. Obviously this is a video game so I would agree with you that there should be bigger loops, but most people would probably just tell you to reduce the speed of your coaster before it hits the loops. In previous RCT games, you could see a significant increase/decrease on your coaster ratings (excitement, etc) based on how fast your hitting each inversion. The slower you go through any inversions you would normally see a rise in excitement and a decrease in nausea/intensity. I am sure when the full game is released, there will be some mega/hyper coaster with bigger loops, but I wouldn't expect every coaster type to allow that. For better coaster ratings and/or more realistic coasters, keep from going to high or learn how to balance your speed before adding inversions.

I just used that as an example. If I want to build a launch coaster like Full Throttle, and have a really big loop, then its probably not good to just use the tiny loops or corkscrews.
