Newcomer / Intro Digital Goodies

Hi,

I bought Mercenary Edition + Beta access and looking at the package contents:

Full list of contents:

• A digital download Elite: Dangerous
• Your very own Eagle fighter ship docked in a secondary location in-game
• Exclusive pack of ship paint jobs
• A ‘day one’ ship decal
• A digital players guide
• A digital concept art book
• Plus loads more digital goodies to be announced over the coming weeks.


Last item mentiones digital goodies (loads of them). I can't recall the announcement of these digital goodies.

Any ideas what we will receive on that point?

I've never heard anything on that myself, but I'm wondering this too. I'm hoping we end up with more cool stuff, rather than it being ignored and basically not happening.

So yes, it should come today.

I understand that these things can take time, although I did notice that the whinging from beta players having their games wiped was sorted out really quickly, anyhoo.....

where is the mercenary digital pack with my loads of other digital stuff?

the game was released nearly two days ago and my order, placed several months ago, is still in Processing - Pre-order - I wanna play.

This is even more frustrating than that prism protection system. ;-)

it stays that way. Terrible cart. You should be able to find a link to download the launcher and play on the site somewhere. You should have been playing on day one. It's the same launcher as for the offline combat missions.

Yep - they have now updated the invoice page to announce that the processing message is an error and the download link is for the current client.

No, if I could only find my digital goodies and mercenary pack, which doesn't appear in-game, then all will be well with the galaxy.

I believe there was a comment on a forum post that said they were putting the final touches on the Mercenary Edition digital content and you will receive it by the end of the week.

I'm not surprised if the missing items from the Merc pack will be announced with the weekly newsletter which comes out on Friday.
