Dinosaurs hunting when hungry

From Bo Marit via Reddit:

“While the Indominus Rex and Indoraptor remain super powerful killing machines, for the remaining carnivores their need to hunt is governed by hunger as of the next update, which should hopefully fix some of the issues you've been having.”

I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to learn that a lone Allosaurus won’t be slaughtering the entire ecosystem as quickly as possible any more. This news has made my day.

Based on the Sorna science mission it certainly seemed to be the plan all along. It will be interesting to have to learn metabilism rates (which are already in game) when picking what carnos go with what herbs, because I suspect a Rex with 20 struthies won't look too different from what we have now, while a minimum pair of Metriocanths with hadrosaurs would allow for nature to happen while requiring the least frequent replacement work on our end.

It'll at least be more entertaining than making a big enclosure for just one dino and waiting around for them to die.
