Discovered and scanned planets

Dear Community,

I have discovered and scanned many unknown planets and was wondering is there a way I can find out which ones? I didn't think to write it down as I was going until recently and would like to keep my records up to date. Thanks gang.

Install EDDiscovery, which will read your game journals for you and give you a detailed history. Lots of other things to do from there....

Play long enough and you'll easily end up with thousands of First Discovered systems, way too many to keep track off or bother remembering. I would just bookmark anything you see that looks interesting as you go, and then maybe keep a record of those after if ever need to delete those bookmarks to free up space.

Spreadsheet, spreadsheet is love! And only real way to track all your discoveries.

Spreadsheet. You can recover the data on your previous travel from the journal.log found in Users/Username/Saved Games/Frontier Developments/Elite Dangerous. On the "Scan" events there are 2 fields WasDiscovered and WasMapped. They will be "false" as potential firsts.

You could try with Elite Observatory.
It can scan your journals for undiscovered systems. I am pretty sure it could scan for undiscovered planets with the right formula (although noone bothered to make one yet). You can export your findings to a spreadsheet of your liking.
