Sorry to hear you have received this kind of emails Bruce. If you want to PM me with copies of the emails I'll look into it with the other mods and we will take appropriate action if and where required.
If anyone on the forum receives Emails, Private or Visitors messages from another forum user that you consider do not adhere to the forum rules; let either myself, another Moderator or one of the FD Admins know immediately. Young people visit this forum (including my children,) and as adults we should be setting a good example on how to behave in this medium.
This kind of behaviour is not welcome on the forum. We all want it to be a friendly place where posters know they can join into discussions without having to worry about any form of bullying.
The Mod team try hard to keep this to a minimum, but if we miss something on the forum or are not informed via the report function there is little we can do. Please use the report function responsibly in all cases and we will always look into it.
If you are worried about this, you can edit your contact preferences in the UserCP under the Edit Options section and the Messages and Notifications box where you deselect the Receive Email from Other Members tickbox. If you're not sure how to do this let me know via PM and I'll PM you the instructions.
Please don't suffer in silence.
