Discussion Display "X Jumps to X" externally?

I swear I seen someone online had an external device showing them the same info you get from "screen 1" (left screen) That would show you 29 Jumps to SOL or whatever. how can this be accomplished? Arduino, IOS app, Windows App? Thanks

If it is an information available from the netlog it can be exported to an external device, through a TCP/IP connection, using edproxy

Thanks so after downloading and reading a lot on this edproxy app (that seems to not be maintained any further) I was wondering what are people using to actually "connect" to the proxy for viewing the screens if you don't have an android (pathfinder app) ? I have PC and IOS and somewhere a droid tablet but I would imagine something else must work as well?? Thanks all and I am getting stuck on "create esdm database"

Anyone have any helpful info on this above topic? What type of "external device" what programs are actually used? TY

Hi,

I think, since this is a "traveling" game, this info should be the minimum to be displayed all the time. GPS in-car navigation can do this since decades. OK, that I can switch to target panel to check it, but...

So, unfortunately, I can't help, but you are not alone with your idea :)

Best regards!

Hi,

Maybe I've found something... I've just inserted it to my VoiceAttack profile, it is more simple than I thought (haven't tried yet, but I'm sure, it'll work). In the link everything is described, the script is very simple. You just need VA and a secondary monitor. This script is a counter, you reset it, it starts counting the jumps. You just have to remember, for how many jumps you planned at the start, and it counts. At the destination, reset, start new journey. I'm sure, it is possible to set at the beginning of the journey the planned jump number in VA, and it can tell you this way also, how many jumps you have left. If I manage to do this, I'll post it, but I'm also new with VA, so it'll take some time. Maybe ask around on the VA forums for more skilled people's help :).

The trial version of VA is free, you can have one profile with a few commands, it is worth a try.

Best regards!
