Imo its that other way around actually.
Its more important to reach the people that dont care, since you are going to reach the ones that are already interested probably anyways. Getting the people to care that werent interested before, thats the end game.

Haven't really poked my head in here in a while, has there been anything or even mumblings of anything since they said a few months back that another animal pack was coming

I Would be quite happy with it.

I already pointed it out, but if you want an american tapir in your zoo and said zoo isn't on North America, the Brazilian tapir is the best choice, while also being an stample on SA fauna, so i would gladly welcome it.

Awesome! Although my go to clone is the rhea. I need the rhea and mara to be in the pack. The brazilian tapir alone won't make me happy. But it is one of my most wanted SA animals.

I have nothing against it, it just depends on what the rest of the pack looks like. If it had to be from South America I would prefer anything that is either a monkey, or not a mammal.

However I would like to see a brazillian tapir worked into a diverse animal pack.

Brazilian Tapir is a fun idea, though personally I think we got enough Tapirs in the game. If we got a clone from SA, I'd prefer the Orinoco Crocodile. That would give us a crocodile, cause I know how much people want another croc, but also a critically endangered species as well.

I wish the DLC would go with the current most popular new species mods... It'd be my favorite animal pack of all time! :) The top of the meta wishlist on the other hand... Not so much...

Honestly, looking back id say that the majority of the animals in the pack should be on the simple side. Which is kinda bad news for a south american pack as there arent really to many good options for these (imo).
To answer the actual question: Its not something im super desperate for, but if the rest of the pack is cool i wouldnt mind it. Its the same as cuban flamingo, black capped capuchin or guanaco, where its not a bad addition in a vacuum, but there are also a 100 more interesting animals on offer

If you take out subspecies/alternative subspecies of existing animals and breeds of domestics. Otherwise swap the last 4 for persian fallow deer, suffolk sheep, kodiak red fox chicken and holstein cow.

I also wouldn't count the sea turtle personally...
I want a cold weather otter (actually prefer the Sea Otter but River Otter works fine). Elk was one of my most wanted animals until the Red Deer was added. But I'd still love to see it. Squirrel Monkey is the only one I don't really care for. Gaur would be cool to add variety to SE Asia. Harbor Seal I wanted more than Grey Seal. Bighorn Sheep would be a nice complement to Dall Sheep one of my favorites in game.

Grey seal over harbour seal was indeed a weird one. Arguably one of the weirdest choices in the games life

they need to do reskins with the cuts frontier did no way we get a new pack without them
