DLC 19 Speculation

Idk I kinda like him, he fits in with the critters we got from the twilight pack and with the coyote, it would complete that set of small critters. Plus the only cats we have for NA are pretty big, would be nice to get a small one. Of course the same could be said about South America but idk comparing the Ocelot and Bobcat, I just take a preference to the Bobcat. Of course I would still want a mara more, but I wouldn't be mad at all for the bobcat.

I would hate this except that once I saw a bobcat while I was camping in a National park, so now I have a big soft spot for them :) Beautiful cats.
I don't think it should take away a coati's spot though. It could replace ocelot and I wouldn't hate that. Big range and lots of different environments that they could go into.

No way you guys don't think Bush Dog could make it in this roster. It has as much potential as Ocelot and it can bring a new way to build for the canine family then the usual temperate and taiga environments.
I don't think anybody denied it. But the coyote has the advantage of just being well known to thw public. If all our predictions are true, the coyote and the flamingo are the only 2 animals that people would recognize.

Nobody will recognize the rhea as a rhea. The saki will just be a "monkey" and the bighorn just a regular sheep. Heck, for a stretch, maybe a goat

Yes they are. Markhor subspecies found in Pakistan are primarly found in hot and arid climate. This is average markhor environment in their southern range.

Im genuienly curious why do you think otherwise. Quick google search indicate markhors can tolerate extreme hot as well as mild winters as far as it is dry enough.
While this technically true it functionally isnt. Based on how the game treats it, where a majority of the markhors range is and what most people see the markhor just isnt associated with deserts. Taking it back to the original point which was the bighorn sheep is the first caprine that is commonly associated with and people will build desert habitats for,

Meh bobcat looks just like the lynx. Not even that insteresting as a clone. Ocelot is much more interesting and has a much larger range. So if not the mara then let it be the ocelot, but not the bobcat. Along with the coyote is probably one of the most boring picks possible. Does it fit the theme and feel of the pack? Sure, but there are far better options.
There's still space for White Tailed Deer
Ok scracth that about the bobcat being the most boring pick possible. We have a winner right here.

This is the part of the conversation that gets me nervous. Everyone mentioning all of my "nightmare scenario" animals as exciting choices lol bobcat, white tailed deer, american black bear, kinkajou lol

The day before the livestream there was some talk about coyotes and then BOoM. So all this talk about the bobcat and white tailed deers is scaring me lol
