That's how I feel too.I feel like flying birds are for PZ what waterparks(? I don't know how to speak theme-park) are for PC. And it looks to be a major feature in PC2 now.

Yeah I think a habitat bird dlc is likely, but I still feel like WTE birds could come (maybe, most likely not). No new system is required, and they are basically animated statues anyways. Or maybe they do the thing I thought of awhile ago:I said a bird dlc is a good chance, not flying birds lol. I don't trust any mechanics for flying birds, this game or new game.
Gotcha, phew you're scared me for a moment there lolNo. I was talking about PC2, which has multi-platform feature.
Anyway looks like it will support both Frontier and Steam workshops at the same time.
Yeah probably, pc users might get the chance to upload items on the frontier workshop to share with console users while the steam workshop still exists for mega builds and complex items that would set a ps5 on fire.So there is a frontier workshop? Thats means in the future PZ2 will use this system and multiplattform
Wait. With PC2 getting ambiente birds... What if... Final pack is birds pack?
How would you all feel about it then?
Haha i can understand that sentiment.
Imo, I am not going to buy the game for Planet Zoo 2, I may buy PC2. But I am fine with the current animals in PZ, just needs much more attention in birds and primates. Probably just going to buy PC2 because I didn't buy the prequel. I may get Planet Zoo 2 when its in like a massive sale but for now im pretty good.I don't know, for now PC2 doesn't seem as big if a bang than I thought it would feel. I mean, PC2 is worth it, because PC1 is old and outdated graphic wise .
But IF we would translate the current status of PC2 with PZ2: Would flying birds, improved pathing, 3 step scaling and a little better guest model and tiny building tweaks be a PZ2 that got me excited? No, guess not.
So for now I think sequel means "better graphic+a thing that could have been a bigger DLC+Tweaks for Updates."
I know the changes are more between PC and PC2. But for now PC2 is not the crystal ball look into the future of PZ2 that I thought it would feel like.
Good luck with that. But I am fine with the current animals in PZ, just needs much more attention in birds and primates
okGood luck with that.
Yeah I agree, I just hope pc2 is actually successful using the kind of model that jwe2 used to jump from the first game. An upgrade in graphics, like I'm seeing improved lighting at very most for pc2 (which I can achieve with Nvidia ansel anyway lol) and some major dlc like the water park features should be a nice jump from the first game since it doesn't actually promise too much. Promising too much by building entirely new systems for everything is not a good way for a sequel, the failed sequels of legacy games as I like to call them - cities skylines and kerbal space program, both promised far too much and ultimately failed as a respectable sequel. We would likely see the same thing with a possible pz2, either birds or aquariums as an major selling point and bringing the first game up to standard that pc2 is now at.I don't know, for now PC2 doesn't seem as big if a bang than I thought it would feel. But I feel the standard is almost the same as PZ now, not much difference. I guess that's what confuses me. PC2 looks like it made a 4 years jump when it was supposed to make an 8 years jump.We would likely see the same thing with a possible pz2, either birds or aquariums as an major selling point and bringing the first game up to standard that pc2 is now at.
That's how I felt with jwe2, it's an decent upgrade but worth the price they are asking for? ... I have no shame for refunding it even buying at 75 percent off in a sale. The biggest issue with these kinds of games is how the dlc model is approached to existing players, if I need to pay £45 again for a new game, and other £150+ in dlc, the upgrade seems worthless in the short term. But I feel the standard is almost the same as PZ now, not much difference. Someone in Geekisms Duscord Server called it Planet Coaster 1.5 and that seems quite fitting.
Do we know how the DLC model will be handled? That's how I felt with jwe2, it's an decent upgrade but worth the price they are asking for? ... Since most of the available info comes from the website and store pages so far, I can currently find that the including themes do include some new ones but don't sound like the dlc versions the original got "Along with the original Planet Coaster theme, discover four distinct new themes to give life to your park, whether it is the majestic Mythology Theme, the sunny Resort Theme, the vibrant Aquatic Theme or the rustic Viking Theme."Do we know how the DLC model will be handled?
Like are the dlcs from the first game, or atleast stuff similar to it already in the basegame?
