DLC18 discussion and predictions

Ok you know what, I've seen a lot of "what would be the best possible animal for the upcoming DLC" in here, but what would be the worst possible candidate for you guys?
For me, the one worst choice that they could make is Sumatran Rhino.
I remember immediately hating on Arid Pack because of the wasted slot for the slightly darker rhino, and if we do get another one, heaven knows what's gonna happen
I think i'm the only person in the forums that don't want a pelican, and would be pretty disapointed if one come in the final dlc.

For me, the only slightly disappointing animals we could get would be reptiles because I’m quite satisfied with what we have. t!
Statement beyond comprehension for me 😂
Like for habitat im still missing an aquatic turtle, a small tortoise and lizards that arent genus varanus for once. Dont even get me started on exhibit species because there is so much missing and truth be told the majority of the existing ones look absolutely horrendous

Players reaction to the quokka is the same reaction I expect for the sifaka:

I'm glad we have the quokka. I'm also bummed that it pretty likely took the slot of the tree kangaroo. Haha. But still, I'm glad they're there... That said? From a "smaller Australian habitat in-game" perspective they definitely fill the same niche as the Tasmanian devil, kiwi, and arguably the wallaby.
Those three animals fill entirely different niches already, you wouldn’t build a wallaby walkthrough for a Tasmanian devil or a nocturnal house for a wallaby. That’s like saying lions, giraffes and wildebeest all fill the same niche because they’re large African savannah animals. Not to mention the kiwi isn’t even Australian.

Accurate. Haha. If they come.

Not the same thing at all. I was pretty explicit in my description saying that they are smaller animals from the same region. That's all I was saying. You're right, though, I misspoke in calling the kiwi Australian. But still. They're all smaller Oceania habitat animals. So in that regard they can fill the same in-game niche for some players.

It's all subjective. And TBH, I don't agree with it - and find the quokka useful. But I can see how some players could feel that way about them.

The pelican is the definition of an animal that's lower on my priority list but would 100% find use for in-game and would inevitably grow to love. Especially after seeing some of the habitats for them in Australian zoos, I really have to say... They'd be so much fun to build for.

I think "hate" is a very strong word in the case of the pelican, if this pack wasn't the last or a pelican have came before, like in wetlands for example, i would be very happy with it inclusion, but right now? Without a proper american bird, or with our only waterfowl being the mute swan? No thanks.

I get why people want the pelican, but I'd prefer any other bird first

I understand this completely, Pelicans are pretty cool but i would take any type of pheasant, grouse, or duck before it. And obviously secretary bird too (Looking at you mandarin duck, wood duck, black grouse, himalayan monal, etc)
