Very much feeling this rn haha. If no words were deleted from the dictionary and then the pack was revealed with most of the dictionary animals but not the echidna and tree kangaroo, I would be feeling a lot more down than I am right now. “Damn, a shame but expected” encapsulates my current feelings perfectly.
I'm missing some more South American species and BIRDS but... this is peak.

Considering a lot of the more requested animals don't all have unique behaviors compared to what we already have, then it's odd we didn't get more...
I mean, let's take the walrus: it would been like the sea lion, maybe a new animation, but not much work in the long run. A 2nd sloth would've been identical to the one we already got. Heck, I would've been happy if we got a 2nd capuchin at this point
I mean there were animals mentioned in the dictionary that we didn't get. Goodfellow's and Secretary could reasonably still be expected. After Barnyard nearly everyone also seemed confident we were done, until we got confirmation of another pack coming up. Now, this pack feels more like an end than Barnyard did, but there are still things that don't add up. I don't wanna get my hopes up but I don't think another pack is impossible.
I will say that they are really putting an emphasis on the 5th anniversary. Not saying to take anything from it, but that could be mostly what all the party stuff is for, not necessarily stating it's the end.

I'm excited to build for the Dik-Dik, we don't have anything like it right now. Overall It's a solid lineup but I feel like it could have had at least an exhibit animal, a Giant Salamander or King Cobra would have been a great way to send off exhibits.
Walkthrough exhibits feel wasted with barely 3.5 different animals dedicated to them. Such a late and underused addition.
Safika with the other lemurs, tortoise with the smaller African animals and same with the dikdik. I think the other animals will be more solitary.
I always thought it was a test for smaller aviaries in sequel

Tortoise - meerkat and porcupine from what ive see at zoos, Going by range maybe some of the desert hoofstock, but that feels kinda weird idk
Cat- None
Bear- Some of the bigger SA ones? Anteater and tapir for example. Ive seen them kept with coatis for example
Markhor- Takin
Dik dik - all the usual african savannah suspects

Yes I remember getting them and being excited about the possibilities with birds. It makes me think that frontier initially planned this but decided to hold it off for the sequel after seeing the community feedback

Are Dik Diks housed in big savannah habitats? I thought they usually were in smaller enclosures
