The dik-dik’s at Marwell lived in their own enclosure until there was a birth. Then the unrelated boys moved in with the Addax or Dorcas gazelle.Spectacled bears are in the desert?
Are Dik Diks housed in big savannah habitats? I thought they usually were in smaller enclosures
Wasn’t there also a zoo where the bears did kill a tapir though???On zoochat there are a bunch of instances of spec bears kept with all sorts of animals, coatis, tapirs, monkeys, bush dogs so apperently thats possible
I think some of their habitats in argentina, peru and stuff could be interepreted as deserts for PZ purposes.Spectacled bears are in the desert?

Frontier are never going to plainly say that they're ending support, there were plenty of PC1 and JWE1 fans on the hook for years, even to this day you won't get Frontier to admit that support ended for those games.I'm starting to get super tired and my coherency is plummeting but
- makes sense to have big finale pack for the most financially successful game released just before Christmas. Especially if cross platform. Especially when the company is somewhat financially struggling. My marketing brain goes "$$$$ opportunity"""
- 19 DLC seems like a weird number, why not hit 20? Also gives them a perfectly even launch number for all the duo packs releasing for console. 10 releases, 20 packs
- a few holes in the roster to round out. New world monkey, coati, secretary bird, pelican or duck, tree kangaroo for example. It would be kind of carthatic to hit 200 animals
- frontier just hasn't said this is it. It very may well be, but I am also happy to just patiently wait and see. Only frontier can decide if that's it or not we are all just playing guessing games
I'm afraid in that regard too, but then IIRC we are only getting scenarios in Animal packs, aren't we?Reading the way the steam store page for the dlc is written, I'm doubting another dlc is in the plans. It would be an odd way to celebrate the "ultimate zoo" to continue making dlc and adding more career scenarios afterwards.
I think the biggest argument for this being the last one is that its a random assortment of animals without any theme, along the lines of round up a bunch of requested animals and put them into a final pack.I'm afraid in that regard too, but then IIRC we are only getting scenarios in Animal packs, aren't we?
There is still place for a regular DLC with 4+1 species, reaching the holy number of 200 as the total roster.
Two packs in a row without exhibit animal whatsoever. I'm very disappointed.
I hate how the only half decent chameleons ingame are my egg shell prop chameleons on the workshop, it was the last chance to get the most needed exhibit animal but nope we got more marquee tents instead.Yeah, the lack of an exhibit animal in Barnyard was somewhat excusable because there were no truly great candidates, but god, would it have killed them to give us a chameleon?
Yea the tortoise really is an unsung hero and I think it will quickly become a favourite for a lot of us due to its versatility. The more I think about this pack, the more I settle on the tortoise being the best addition by a mile. It adds so much versatility. I think I've posted before about how they're the #1 animal I keep finding myself wanting to use and not being able to. They work as a filler African species, in reptile houses, in all manner of zoos from high to low budget. I was sure they wouldn't be coming but am delighted that they are.
I just want to discuss a sequel at this point, loads of possibilities.So....should we have a thread in futility about the extremely unlikely chance of another DLC? like maybe a standard scenery pack thread? If nothing else, just for fun. I certainly don't want to get anyone's hopes up as I really don't see anything else coming, but I have thoughts too.
Id say just a Planet Zoo general chat for everything really, because imo there really isnt any point for speculation unless frontier confirms there is moreSo....should we have a thread in futility about the extremely unlikely chance of another DLC? like maybe a standard scenery pack thread? I'm done with specualitng another pack. If it comes great. I just don't want to entertain the thought of another pack for the animals i want and once more be dissapointed that i don't get them.So....should we have a thread in futility about the extremely unlikely chance of another DLC? like maybe a standard scenery pack thread? If there was another one coming later, like a Latin america pack, a Rainforest pack or whatever why wouldnt you do that one first and keep the one that clearly screams "Im the final pack!" after that?
The only way i see this not being the last pack is if there is another grab bag animal pack coming later, and that just seems less than unlikely
