DLC20 Discussion (maybe, but why not?)

They've done that before with both JWE games, so anything's possible I suppose
Maybe we were just looking too deep into the challenge thing.
To recap: the next challenge runs from 6/24 to 6/30, and includes two species from the upcoming pack. The only way this seems to make sense is if the DLC gets released by, at absolute latest, 6/30, but presumably closer to 6/24. That would all but necessitate an announcement this week.
I suppose the other explanation is that the pack isn't coming as soon as you'd think, that the elephant and deer only wound up getting included in the challenge species list because they were in some other list of semi-aquatic species and whoever added that to the code didn't thoroughly verify release dates. I'm hoping this isn't the case, but I suppose it isn't imposisble.

Yes, we have had announcements on all weekdays. So an announcement tomorrow is not impossible.
Could that really be? The pack coming in July or August or even October??

But have we had announcements later than 3 p.m. at all?
Maybe? It is not outside of the realm of possibility. But it's also possible we get the announcement in an hour, or tomorrow or Thursday and just have a truncated buildup to launch. It's impossible to say.

Honestly: I doubt Frontier would include animals in a community challenge that aren't released yet. So release must be next Monday or Tuesday IMO. That would also fit very, very well with the stream. An announcement tomorrow or on Thursday is of course still a possibility, with e.g. more than a teaser picture daily after the announcement.
But I don't think Frontier trolls us deliberately or wants to destroy our hopes or something. I don't think Frontier is that bad.

Whether the announcement is today or in a week I hope we do get at least one bird. The challenge might rule out a duck or goose but a pheasant or even a second crane could be fantastic.
Thats the longest time we waited for an announcement after a teaser, isn´t?
Why would they announce a DLC with release?
I mean if they consider elephants and the deer as semi aquatic id assume it would the same for a crane. The red crowned is also in there right at the start, so imo a crane is kinda off the table
That semi-aquatic thing lets me die a bit inside... Do they consider themself semi-aquatic because they take regular showers and visit a water park once in a while?
