DLC20 Discussion (maybe, but why not?)

My problem is that I am building a zoo with an asian section, and I'm stuck because I don't know wether to change the planned layout.
Well, what might be important enough to change the layout over? Something like raccoon dog or a pheasant or Prevost's squirrel (I will keep willing this one into existence) wouldn't require much space, nor would the honey badger. I imagine you've already got plans for hoofstock yards - maybe size them down to include the deer or potential blackbuck/nilgai/etc?

A new lion maybe?

Have you thought about using the in game lion lmao? If you wont get new one there is still old one to use and its not like this is completely different animal.

So...Asia Animal Pack!

And we've got:

Honey Badger
Lion-Tailed Macaque
Bornean Pygmy Elephant
Pere David's Deer

3 more slots. What would you use them for?

I'm going to have to give this more thought but my first instinct is:

1. Another primate. Preferably a langur. I'd love a Vietnamese one like the Douc or Delacour langur.
2. A loris, any loris
3. Gotta have a bird, right? A gorgeous pheasant would go well here.
3b If no bird I selfishly want a squirrel.
It's always fun in speculation when one little thing changes the pack dynamic. And the deer did that in this case. Hoping the 'leak' is accurate because I'd much prefer a broader Asian pack over India for one major reason. And that major reason is my #1 pick for what I'd want in the remaining slots...
  • Tanuki
  • Golden pheasant
  • Cloud rat
The Japanese serow, silver langur, the Prevost's squirrel, or a loris would be reasonable replacements for me. Any of these options would add some greatness to the game, TBH...

Frontier had more or less established a rhythm with the packs at that point, with the "fall" pack appearing in September. For Twilight, they dragged it out all the way till the end of October, to release it close to Halloween. People were absolutely losing their minds day after day for a month straight.
Really, not just Tuesday after Tuesday? How did that look, just like now or worse?

Really sorry, that was not my intention. I didn’t consider they could have a genuine phobia given people thinking rats are yucky animals is super common even amongst those that aren’t scared of them, and just wanted to share some rodent species I was really fond of in a humorous manner. I’ll try to be more conscious of this in the future.
That's fine, the post wasn't aimed solely at you as other posts were removed. But thank you for the response.

If we never drifted a little off topic this forum would be dead...
Drifting is fine, and it's our job to nudge you back towards it if required :)
