Honestly I've wanted a India pack for quite some time and I think it would be really cool if it had similar animals to the animals on the Sunderpatan map on TheHunter COTW. Obviously it wouldn't have all of them cuz the map has more animals than what a pack would have.
For reference the species list of Sunderpatan is as follows:
Northern Red Muntjac, Barasingha, Tahr, Bengal Tiger, Snow Leopard, Blue Sheep, Wild Yak, Tibetan Fox, Nilgai, Woolly Hare, Blackbuck, Water Buffalo and Greylag Goose.
(Obviously we have some of these already)

I think we're going to get one. I don't care much about birds, so I don't know a lot about them. But if there's any cool duck from South Asia, then I'd hope it's that one. If not, the Demoiselle crane that people mention is also cute, so it would be my second choice.
Wild yak, fox and bharal are a hard pass for me.
Outside of them however, hare, goose, blackbuck, muntjac, nilgai and barashinga would be fire additions, while tahr would be just ok.
I don't know why we can't speculate a South Asia animal pack
It's probably going to span the entire Indian subcontinent, which is pretty similar to South Asia
I think we have forgotten the opportunity of the great Himalayan Black Bear and Indian Boar.
So coming back a day later, have we come to a consensus on the elephant in the keyart? (you will be hearing this joke commonly now)

I'm going with their in the pack cos I'd rather be pleasantly surprised they're not than disappointed they are
Last time at the zoo I spent a good amount of time watching the pelicans, and I have to say: generally, they're not too dissimilar from swans. The walk cycle is nearly identical, the way they swim is very similar, the biggest changes are (of course) the head and beak. Everything else is pretty much a swan, so it shouldn't be too hard to implement into the game.
IMO, unlikely. We barely got anything to coincide with the Americas Pack, which tells me Frontier's winding down on unpaid support for the game. That said, I'll be mildly surprised if we don't get an anniversary animal.
Last pack brought MANY things that players that wanted like a NWM, Aquatic Canine, 2 SA Birds. Imo, I think we'll be getting more requested topics possibly another semi-aquatic bird.
So we can indefinitely say that Frontier is no longer trying to continue love for this game. They just want more dollars?
Last year, @Leaf had posted a thread suggesting/requesting that the India sandstone set be made flexicolor in a free update. Now's as good a time as ever to revive that thread and add to the list of people requesting it! So maybe Frontier doesn't have a major free update planned but hey...
Maybe we can convince them to do a little something, anyway? So I'm linking that thread here. Let's revive this bad boy and convince Frontier it's the way to go!
