DLC20 Discussion (maybe, but why not?)

I’m excited for the monkey, and very excited for the deer 
, but I still can’t help but feel disappointed by what we aren’t getting.
Man, I love how we are at the point we get to have our third elephant (one not common in captivity) before I ever, EVER seem to get a duck. Seeing as to what the leak was, it only makes it even more sad. I’ve been visiting some zoos more recently, and I’ll be honest I’m not dying for another elephant. Want to know what we don’t have in game? An animal I see in almost every zoo? Ducks, waterfowl, geese, swans, screamers.
Obviously I’m not saying every DLC has to go my way, but getting the Swan two years ago followed by nothing is such a disappointment. I was really hoping making the Waterfowl Winners Club would show at least something in terms of interest, not to mention the general public and children do love waterfowl. They are common in kids areas, as well as some of my favorite habitats like tropical houses.
Obviously for us bird people we still could get a pheasant, and maybe the crane? But above all the other birds I need waterfowl. “Can’t you mod them into the game?” You can mod anything at this point including flying birds and fish, if Frontier is trying to fill in packs I don’t see why birds can continued to be left in the state that they are while we get multiples of other animals.
Either way, I’m still looking forward to the announcement and I would be more than happy to eat my words if need be. Also the Peere David’s deer my beloved

Our current crane is on the list so I have no reason to expect that a new one wouldn't be. I think a pheasant is by far the best bet at this point, but I'm not holding my breath.

Oh no i never mean this things about the real animal, i mean about what they bring to the game. I love elephants irl actually (and they are among my favorite animals to play with in game), but for the game at this stage it just takes away from something else that could add more (and that we need more). Because i doubt there would be much difference in building for the bornean elephant that it is for the indian elephant.That's a bit much isn't it? It's okay to not love elephants but it is very different from their big cousins both physically and behaviourally, and is an incredible conservation story, very much at threat of extinction. If you are very very lucky you might see them when you go to Borneo, and I very much doubt you would be disappointed if you did.

Okay I was just writing in another thread about how having the red crowned crane in the game allows us to build habitats for all crane-like animals with a decent substitute. So here's a question, assuming we get an asian DLC: What habitat types an we not yet build with any animal in the game, that could ome in an Asia dlc?

Asia is honestly looking great at this point, I was only gonna say maybe tropical houses filler animals? Ducks, chevrotains, a langur maybe?
I do see the point. I am not as mad or upset or sad about the lost spot as some here are, but I definitely see the point why the Borneoan Pygmy Elephant is no real addition (just neutral) for PZ.
I think a pheasant is different enough from how peafowl are typically displayed to be up for consideration. A squirrel or treeshrew for sure. Hyrax. Habitat loris would be a super out there idea, but I suppose that.

Have anyone tried to see if the last challenge had something? IIRC it included all the animals in the game.
The worst part about this being a general Asia pack is that it's less likely the Indian theme will become flexicolour (and further affirming no new Exhibit Animals)
Meanwhile I think I'll have a pizza pie... You know, with the usual toppings. Pepperoni, and green peppers, mushroom, olives, chives...you should have some terracotta pie with the bananas obviously
