Horizons Do I need to download Horizons seperately?

So I bought Horizons and heard that it launched today. I ran the launcher from steam and I didn't see an option to launch horizons from the list. When I got into the game my Asp had the planetary approach suite. I also didn't have a SRV bay nor were there any options in the outfitting for a SRV bay. It's not letting me land on any planets.

Am I screwed until Horizons is added to steam or something. I'd like to avoid uninstalling the game to install Horizons, and then uninstalling that to install the steam version when it's available. Is there a way to just add the data from Horizons ontop of my currently installed version? Or is that not possible and Frontier wants to waste hours and hours of my time downloading their game.

So I figured a way around it.

Went to the download page on my account on the website. Downloaded the Horizons launcher and installed it. I didn't install the game and instead put the EDLaunch.exe in the ED directory in steam. I can't launch Horizons from steam but if I launch the game directly I don't have to download an entirely separate game.

You need to generate a Steam key from your FD account. You then take the key and enter it into Steam and you will then have Horizons as a new game in Steam. I then deleted all local content in ED and downloaded Horizons.

Oh thanks!

I knew there was a way and I thought it was just the "Link steam account" option in my account. My accounts were already linked so I was getting confused.
