Do Thargoids drop anything worth picking up?

I am building a Cutter. Wondering if it is worth it to shoehorn in a limpet controller before I finish engineering it?

I would say, no. HRP/MRP or decontamination limpets much more useful, especially if you are hunting interceptors.

Let's put it: Not really. They drop some materials but those are only useful for some synthesis recipes. Have a look at this site: https://inara.cz/galaxy-components/ and sort by "Location". If you look at the Thargoid materials that can be found in Thargoid ship encounters you have an overview for what these materials are used.

All materials for Thargoid Enzyme Missile racks can be obtained far more easily from Scavengers at Thargoid surface sites.

Materials dropping from Interceptors are the only way to get components for synthesis of AX/Enzyme Munitions.

It's also the only way to get a Thargoid Heart, if that's important to you.

I believe Tgarg hearts to be of great importance to Relspi in particular!
