Do the thargoids still exist?

...and in Coalsack. My first jump after arriving in the sector and I was hyperdicted. Their behavior has returned to a less aggressive state. I wasn't deemed a threat or interesting enough (for whatever) and the ship* simply left before I recovered from the shutdown field.
They're still out there. Happy travels.

* a Cyclops, I believe

Their behaviour in places like coalsack, pleiades etc. was always non-aggressive. It was only around the titans and HIP 22460 that interceptors would attack on sight without provocation.

The Titan Leigong graveyard still spawns some Scythes and the occasional interceptor. Other graveyard sites also might.

All the dead Titans except Cocijo in Sol do. Why not in Sol, well, fairly easy to imagine they're not interested in fighting the Feds' navy in searching the wreck (and causing a panic in humans, though I doubt it's because they care about our blood pressure).

There you instead get support by the AX NPCs acting as improvised system security if your crime reports are on and a pirate gets on your nerves, as I hear.

So, I saw that the Thargoid titans were destroyed, but are they actually gone?

O7

O7 my fellow Thargoid speculators! I am about to finish a rudimentary viper mk3 Thargoid research craft, and would humbly inquire if anyone knows of a fleet carrier jumping to coalsack soon?

Thanks, Lordbot3.

We're all just waiting for Titans (or whatever follows) round 2 anyway. Or, at least, I'd wager a guess most of us who have an interest in the Thargoid side of things are.

Floating around in Sol Cocijo, I noticed that some of the meaty parts of the carcass still have a glow to them, and there's a low groan sound.

Nope, this story is not over!

I'm thinking they are not defeated, just...regrouping.

They all do. Some of it is just light reflecting off the wreck but those remains (which I am fairly convinced are the “hearts” of the Titan, or what’s left anyway) seem to have a little bit of life left in them. Whether it means anything is to be seen but I could’ve sworn there are occasionally deep heartbeat-like noises in there.

… separate from the “signal” which the wrecks started giving off just before Cocijo went caustic sun. Look into it if you haven’t.

Of course it’s not over, there are all the reasons to believe this is merely what the Thargoids were willing to dedicate to the task with an unknown goal, not anything even remotely close to the numbers they could be throwing at it. Or humans, for that matter.

... That's technically still research...

Alright alright, I guess you can swing by Canonn. Someone might be headed that way.
