Nope.

Problems with GalNet :
PP imply to read a lot of GalNet which is not translated, or at least I'm not able to choose the language of GalNet edition.
Liked precedent GalNet with easy access to titles which allowed me to choose what I would read. Now the interface is cumbersome.
Can't read GalNet while flying, so I stopped read GalNet. If I must choose between flying and reading, I will fly.

Motivations :
I'm a independent pilot which try to reach his goals in the universe. Independent.
I'm more explorer as combat pilot, I want to go where I want, when I want.
More fun to work for everyone.

The only thing which could change my mind would be if "exploration" faction would allow to obtain a combined exploration scanner.
Won't happen.

Confusing, no one wanted it, hate politics in my games, seems broken. Waste of time.. Why did they waste dev time on it? Who thought it was a good idea anyway.. fire him

It looks like the server update today is to fix PowerPlay issues. I am not sure whether the poll on this thread is representative of the whole player population, but even if it is vaguely accurate, it seems that this maintenance is supporting a minority of users, where there is a long list of fixes and enhancements that they could have done that would benefit the majority.

I would say it's fairly accurate with over 1200 votes. Statistically it's probably within a few percent.
The problem is, now it's out there, if some people are playing it they can't abandon it now, as much as I think the game wold be better without it. the horse has bolted and all that.

Wish they fix other stuff then power play.

I fear you're right. And add to this vested interest from those "who baby is was (is)"... I do hope who ever this was has had a bit of a reality check now...

If only the back bone could be removed (players actually voting for moves) and this was simply automated.

I think you get "hostile interdictions" only if you defect. If you just leave, then you're alright, but you can't join another power for a while (a couple of days?)

Perfect... I'll leave tonight then! I'll lose out on two or three 500kCR/50kCR salaries, but it'll be worth it!

I'm very surprised by the pool results, I was sure that majority of people here prefer to Powerplay. (do you even Powerplay bro? :D)
Anyway, I'm curious how many people that are not on the forums are Powerplaying.

-If it was fun
-If it was integrated into the mission board
-If the decay was not so punishing for people who has a life, family and other duties
-If I could actually ROLEPLAY the powerplay and not be FORCED to kill other powerplay faction members because my trade oriented CEO is a murdering sociopath who wants to see people killed (only way for me to manage to grind the needed merits in time).
-If the rewards were better scaled (X10 each rank in reward - WHY?)

Nah, I'll quit after I get my missile launchers.

Probably stay in the power and just ignore the drama.

Yes, it would be interesting to see stats dating back from its release showing for each week:-
- Players assigned to a Power.
- Merits turned in.
- The breakdown of how those merits were earned (ie: Via what task/for what purpose).

I suspect there's be a constant clear drop in merits earned... If I'm right, I suspect there's been some "interesting" meetings discussing those figures...
