Do you use Voice Attack?

I used to. These days i don't bother because every time you rebuild you have to train the speech engine, and i felt got really burned by preordering corina (truly miserable piece of work) so went sour on the whole idea.

Amazing for exploration mode and changing pips in a firefight though.. can't go back really.

used it for about 3 yrs, much better now its evolved. resonantly got tempted to add Vasco to my crew. Astra and Eden have let me know how they feel.
voice attack has now got a few more options. one i like is, ability to stop VA from changing mic gain. if you get it in the sweet spot/balance. mine is 24% gain. you can speak quietly and other noises in environment are not picked up.
previously VA would change mic gain every time it started and that's what causes you to SHOUT!

And to jump or enter supercruise

Everything else is on HOTAS buttons somewhere

Not recently, though it's installed and configured. My HOTAS covers everything I need and in VR, there's even less - BUT, it can be really helpful. I tend now to avoid it for noise reasons as my only gaming time is when my tiny person is asleep, so it's just one of those things.

Anyone that thinks its cheating might want to consider how things like VA help those that are less able to actually play a game they love. And saying "Galaxy map" instead of reaching in VR for a button is hardly going to make the game easier.

I use a Logitech G533 headset so I don't have noise voice level issues at all.
