Does vive also have color banding issues?

He worry, he already said it. He's even ready to open a support ticket.

It's a game breaker, I didn't see anybody saying the inverse. But taking life the good side even if something is wrong, seen the glass half full, trying to provide joy and good mood, that's qualities for me I like to read :)

Hard to be immersed in graphics from the Win 95 days.
Not that everyone shouldn't open a ticket on this (the more the better) but be aware that oculus support will ask you to supply logs, take a picture of your lenses showing this (can't be done as far as I have seen) then after a few emails saying something like without proof we can't RMA your Rift then will likely just stop responding (from personal experience). From all the reading in various forums this issues is being seen by pretty much everyone except Oculus support, even some software developers.

It looks like Oculus was replacing headsets for awhile, then likely stopped when they realized how pervasive this issue is and that it wasn't hardware or that admitting it exists would get quite costly, hence the lack of acknowledgement, imo

Again, I encourage everyone to post a confirmation of this issue (if you haven't already) here

so that we can give Frontier the ammunition to move Oculus on this. It in perplexing to me that given we all seem to be suffering this only 6 of us have done this so far. If you read CMDR Vanguard's response to me "We can't promise anything but we'll do what we can " in the above link, then you must realize we need to do better.
Not that Oculus isn't aware of this. I know they use Google and it's all over the web.

Some might complain there is already more than one thread about this, but as far a I am concerned, this is of paramount importance as it has ruined a great game, so the outcry cannot be large enough and at least one thread should be Sticky'd. What do the Mods say about that?

I added my voice on Oculus support site too, hope to get some news quickly. If it's an issue which will last I'll really consider using an other VR solution. Due to the price I'm hoping to have better quality than what we saw currently, for sure. Let's see! ;)
