Newcomer / Intro Drives offline: Zero thrust capability

I am stuck in the middle of nowhere..... I get this message and i cant move at all...
I am going to modules but i cant turn them on

I am trying to repair/reboot but the process is failing.

I cant do nothing.... Can anybody help?

How is the process failing? What are the state of your other modules? If you suffered extensive damage it may not repair the thrusters with the first reboot.

Have you tried to re-enable (turn on) the broken module after the repair/reboot sequence?

It will not turn on automatically after the repair sequence has completed, you have to go to the modules section and select it and turn it on (default = space bar)

Check to make sure that you do not have more in your ship than your power plant can support. Start by disabling you cargo hatch, weapons, shields, etc.

Glad to hear you're back online.

Slightly off-topic though: as an IT guy, I do have to say I feel a bit embarrassed that a video game mechanism has come about that mocks the most proffered advice of my profession. :eek:

I've had an issue as well with thrusters not working... and in the heat of battle no less.

Sometimes disconnecting my X55 thruster control, and reattaching, resolves the issue.

I have my thrusters module at 0%, in the middle of nowhere, don't know what to do, nearest station is 22Mm away, and I can't move


ok i repaired :)

HALP!!!!!

OK so I was in super cruise and I got a message I think said"frame shift failure imment". Now I'm stuck with no thrusters or fsd. I have also turned off all my modules other than thrusters,life support and my fsd. Modules are all above 80%. My power plant useage is at 30% but still nothing please help!

Drop your Cargo!
I guess you fitted thrusters, that can support your ship when it's empty but not when you carry cargo. Than you have more mass than the thrusters can support
