Oh it wasn’t a critiscism. I realise that nearly every type of ship will be going and some are required for hauling stuff just personally I find the T9 ugly and the T10 has some awesome looking engines for screenshots and better jump range I think? But good on them for taking them. It’s more hard work than i’d like for such a long journey.
The Type 9 reminds me of the Disaster Area Stuntship in Restaurant at the End of the Universe - "Looks like a fish, moves like a fish, steers like a cow".

With dirty drive tuning. Without it, it steers more like a shopping centre. My T9 ship name is "Meadowhall".
I'd just wanna know, which group in bringing the refreshments mainly who's bringing the beer. I mean it's gonna be a long trip and "MAN" can't live on bread alone, thus someones gotta bring some adult beverages. I personally am bringing repair and fuel limpets to assit anyone in need, and because they take up no space or add any additional mass, I'm bringing a few additional holographic hookers, some for rent and some for sale.
Just don't siphon off coolant from the FSD - it'll make you go blind (and leave you stranded)...
That's why I'm also bringing a refinery. If I can't find it, I'll make my own hootch. Some fsd juice a few gals of black water for a bit of color, refine it for 12 hours, it will be fine.
it seems the meet ups and events will take place in a private group on PC (FleetComm). will there be a privte group on PS4 too? i am not too happy with the idea of playing in open with exploration data from months under my belt >.>
also i don't have discord (i don't even have a PC), how essential will discord be in regards to meet ups and events?

Don't know as yet how essential it will be, but I know that the program is free to down load on any android from Google's play store, it's called Discord - Chat for gamers.

that's what it says in the registration topic. so the ID is only for roleplay purposes. and since you have to pay to be able to put the ID and a name on your ship, i don't think anybody will demand that we have to do that.
and yes, it says that discord is not mandatory. however, when everyone is in discord having fun and i can only watch and have no idea what's going on... not exactly what i consider fun xD

No, there is no requirement for you to put your ID on your ship. It’s there if you want to use it ��
There will definitely be a PS4 PG for those that want to use it. We haven’t decided what to call it yet, but there will be one

Hi There! Yes, there will be a PG, don’t worry. I don’t want you to get griefed either!
Discord is critical as it will be the main avenue for major announcement during the Expedition. It will also be used to coordinate meetups and group activities. One reason for this is that the 8 player cap in PS parties isn’t enough to coordinate large group activities where people need to speak with each other. You do t have to have a PC for it. I mostly use my tablet, the phone version also has full functionality. In addition my PS messages chat channel will be used for day to day text chat and you are welcome to create and enter parties as you like.
Send me an FR and I will add you to the chat and you can get to know the c.100 CMDRs that are using it already.
I had to leave the Enigma group as I can't cope with all the messages! You're still on my friends list, so will you still be using the same PG for DW2? Are we now definitely using a PG rather than open?
Hi! We miss you! DW2 isn’t quite the same animal as EE was. There will be a PG, it is possible that it will be my existing one, but we may create a new one. Because of the variety of potential experiences it may be that Open is the best place for some activities or experiences so we want everyone to feel they have a choice
LOL You're very sweet but I'm an incorrigible introvert. Once DW2 comes around I'll be fine joining in with the Discord and any parties/wings that want an extra member along. I'll open the door of my virtual man cave a couple of inches closer to the time ;-)
I even miss about half of Stormy's o7s and he's the person I've spoken to most in ED by far (sorry mate =] ).
