Cant find the group, instancing wont let me join.. too bad

Sorry to hear that. Feel free to try again at the 19:00 UTC event. Get in touch with us on the FleetComm discord voicechat. While flying in formation we don´t have much time to look at textchannels or forums, so please give a shoutout in the voicechannel (Wing 1) if you need help getting a wing invite.

Hope to see you there.

What a great day of flying :D

Thank you to everyone who took part!

I only got a few chances to take screenshots, but I hope the rest of you will post whatever images or video you have in this thread.

Last practice of the day. How tight can you make a formation with both fighters and Belugas while roling and turning?

The vids and pics are great. A testament to the hard work put in by Corbin, Nagi and others. Thank you all.
I was in the 09:00 group. We were a small group 🤣 but it was a great experience.
I hope to get chance to do it again in a larger group.
Thanks again Corbin 👏.

Anyone has a video of the mass jump?
It was a great event, thanks to everyone who participated.
Unfortunately the mass jump is not included in Dr.Nagis Video. I think it was a great finish to what we have experienced.

Ahrg, the alarm I had set to wake me up (2 am my time) didn't go off or it didn't wake me up. Which of course made me miss the event, though I am happy to see that there was still enough people to have a good time.

Im sorry and actually gutted i missed this, i was traveling back from France after a skiing trip and the plane was delayed so didnt get in until 2100 on saturday :(

I have a question, I hope it's not stupid.
In last weekends session and also in your "non required reading" notes you mention the grand formation performing a roll.
Does the formation roll as a unit about its longitudinal centre axis (very difficult I think), or does each ship roll about its own axis.

I hope I made my question clear.

It is a good question - and important too :)

Each ship roll on its own axis.
Having the entire formation roll along its common axis would require a lot more practice than we will be doing here.
