Welcome to the "Dangerous" club, turwhitt. Six of us now
Building a game over time, starting with the minimal playable is perhaps another way of doing this - as already happens online in the 'social' space."
Indeed! Welcome to the "Dangerous club" Turwhitt
Can’t say Iam too bothered by product placement as long it not too in your face and they could only use it in games set modern era. Would look too out place in a fantasy world.
No idea. I'm only Dangerous when I'm doing some DIYYay, so I'm actually "Dangerous" in real life too now?
I remember having this discussion years ago. Is there any reason to expect the likes of McDonalds and Coca-Cola won't be around in the year 3200?I believe there are no depths to which advertisers will not stoop. Although you may not see a big gold arches sign in "Total Fantasy - Dark Ages" you may well see a sign with "Olde McDonald's Fantasy Fries" and a strangely reminiscent stylised Latin "M".

Note the cost.
Just switch that with BK Flamer or "12939" for those who remember Mercenary....
I'm sure i couldn't be bothered with some sort of "group" or "fleet" quests to go up in ranks or get better equipment or ships. Another aspect that I don't like is to queue up for a mission and wait around for someone else to finish it first... don't have the patience for it. I wouldn't look forward to be mining somewhere either and then be blast away by a 14-year old kid playing a pirate...
Actually, I wouldn't mind "jumping the fence" for a while and chasing naughty people in a police Viper. Would make a change from my previous "activities" while playing Frontier It would have to have flashing lights and a siren though
And here's me thinking that girls didn't like big guns!
Maybe they should give us mass drivers too...
