Well I`m using Astra right now, but this looks interesting.

Any thoughts on personalising it? So you can define a name for the computer and it can also call you by any name you wish?

I also have voiceattack in my computer and Astra but did you manage to assign her a "landing request"?

I really like it: a few things from me:

No jingle on volume up/down would be better
Love the nod to Starship Troopers (would you like to know more...)
Would be really cool with more natural sounding voices (is it easy to change the voices?)
Never apologise for your accent.

And now ive just noticed how long ago this was made :D

Thx for the feedback, regarding the sound, yeah it was just for the demo proposes.
Regarding the voices, yes you can change it and use HCS voices as well, but with the next update you can add many effects to change the voices.

and yes it was from a long time ago [redface], I know that the next update seems like taking forever but after its release (very soon) i'm planing to release updates more quickly.

I think IVONA changed the software to be could based ... for that I believe that you need to contact them or something, tbh i didn't buy it i just tried the demo long time ago.

Hi Olkan,

Thought i would give your program another go, Uninstalled everything from 2.02 and re-installed latest. Setup my profile but when press 'Start Listening' it says Error. Error occurred while loading profile data.'

Can't do anything from there.

Cab you help at all so i can buy this from you?

sry it doesn't work for you, I'll solve this for you asap, could u PM me your profile? it is located in the following path "\Talkative AI\Echo Demo Launcher\Echo\Profiles".
Another thing to insure that you get support is to either send email to "support@talkativeai.net" or add your issue in the "Bugs and Issues" section on the forums.

one more thing, you already have the full version you don't need to buy anything :D

"Hello everyone, I've an announcement to make regarding Echo's future (3.0 and beyond).

Regarding 3.0 It is now ready for deployment.

I was planning to have it licensed from FD since the begining becuase the magority of Echo's users uses it for Elite: Dangerous. Unfortunately the licensing was not approved, because of a certain ED developments coming up.

As you know Echo is reading GALNET feed and I tried to find anything on the web that says to use GALNET in an application you have to have a license, and when it came to the "Player Journal API" also there was nothing that says that.

Anyways FD informed me that without a license I cannot use game related content like "GALNET" and integration with "Player Journal API"...

However this is not a bad thing, the identity of Echo is that it is a personal assesstant application with GUI elemtns. it's bigger than an application for a specific game, but my plans was to use it for gaming at the beginning.

Based on this I cannot sell new versions of Echo as long as it has Elite: Dangerous content, also this means that the release of 3.0 will be delayed a little longer, so i can remove any game related content.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share with you the progression of the next Update 3.0:

First of all this update is taking a lot of time because it is the biggest update yet, and it is an important milestone in the progression of HUDlizer.
The main feature which will be available in update 3.0 is the HUD Builder
I consider this to be the feature which defines what HUDlizer is all about.
This is only the first iteration of the GUI builder, or as I like to name it, the HUD builder. With this tool you will be able to create, display and share your own GUI elements, which can be triggered using voice, keyboard and mouse commands, here is some screen shots:
The following screenshot shows how will you be able to choose a UI element (shape) based on a category, in this screen shot it shows the shapes currently available in the circles category.

The following one shows the main HUD setup screen, here we have 5 elements showing on the toolbox (on the right hand-side). from the toolbox you will be able to add and edit settings for these elements.
The Speak output element displays whatever the system will speak which will be triggered by the speak action, while the Video feed element displays any video triggered by the play multimedia action

Next, you can see the shape configurations, which are position, size, opacity and color.

And finally here you can see configurations related to the text element (the Speak output element)

Update 3.0 will also include many changes, enhancements and fixes for the recognition engine and the actions.
I'm very excited to release this update, It is now under testing and I'm planning to release this soon after testing is done.
