Hardware & Technical ed tacker strapped to a game controller

hiya,

I have not played ED for a very long time. I'm downloading horizons now. During my absence we acquired an x-box. My first exposure to that type of controller.

My question is can x-box style controllers be used with pc's? also if I strap my old ed tracker to the under side, could i use that to control, pitch/roll/yaw?

do you think it could work?

I only looked at the 360 controllers previously for other games. The wireless ones appear to need a USB adapter you buy separately. The corded ones can plug in and work I think. I recall seeing a driver download but can't recall if that was for corded or wireless. In the end I bought a 3rd party copy of the controller from ebay to use instead.

No idea about ed tracker myself.
