I had all this crap installed also got rid of all of it and definitely notice a performance improvement on my system. I think a lot of this stuff is gimmick

Cannot Start Application error

I've installed EDProfiler and have tried to open it but I get the following error message:
I've tried reinstalling a couple of times and have read through this thread for a possible fix but I haven't come across anything that's helped.
I would be very grateful if you might be able to help me get it working please. I have a copy of the Error Log (txt file) if that'll help diagnose the problem?

Can't remember, I know I had that once. Find all the related files somewhere in your appdata and make sure to delete them (will have to do a search), and try installing from Internet Explorer (not chrome or firefox). LMK if it works

Seeing as I'm not getting the error though, it's hard for me to try and fix. I would go through the errors and google them and see what comes up and try?
May I request for the next update you throw a try/catch around path access and on a fail revert the saved path to blank and ask the user to readd a valid one? I clicked some option that requested me to select the ED install folder and I had misclicked without realising it and now it's throwing unahandled exceptions on anything that tries to read/set data and reset does not work either. Even uninstalling and reinstalling did not clear the information :/
Is the path set in the registry or is there a config file in an obscure directory somewhere? I'll edit the path manually for now if you tell me where to find it

I guess this is a feature request. The Display combobox LOV with four display options... that Display setting is really all I wanted out of this tool and it just isn't quite cutting it. Any chance you could populate it dynamically or just add "Quinary" and "Senary" to it?

Seconded - I installed in a non-standard path and I get exceptions also. Everything seems to work though.
Hi drkaii, will you be adding an option for disabling/enabling DTS Headphone:X ?
Thanks for building this, it looks great. Unfortunately, it crashes the first time I hit apply, and then crashes on startup every time after that. I have the option to click "continue" on a dialogue that says "unhandled exceptions" "There are multiple root elements Line 4, position 6." I tried the troubleshooting tips, erased settings and reinstalled, same thing happened again. Any ideas?
Yes, delete your GraphicsConfigurationOverride.xml from ...user\appdata\frontier developments\options\graphics

3 changes:
1. You can now create a list of programs to run when you hit Apply for each profile! So if you switch your audio source with something like nircmd, for example, when you change from 2D to VR, you can now add the .bat files to the relevant profiles and have them run as you hit Apply (checkbox has to be checked)
2. You can now unlock the Model Draw Distance to go above the default range. Setting the slider to max with the "unlock" box ticked sets it to 2.0, which almost completely eliminates pop up. Powerful computers only!
3. I wrote some code to give you a dialog box if your GraphicsConfigurationOverride.xml is corrupt (not sure why but this happens to a few people here and there, see 2 posts up) with some options on how to deal with it (either delete and recreate, or lets you fix it yourself)
