Parks Efteling (Work in Progress)

I recently started remaking my favorite themepark in the Netherlands.

De Efteling, Kaatsheuvel.

So I finally decided to share it here also.

Current Status:

Building:
Spookslot (Using dark ride carts)
Pardoes Promenade
Entrance area (Made it look as close as possible to the real one)
Efteling Theater
Aquanura (will make triggers with railroad track when made, for now just doing its thing)
Fata Morgana

Finished:
- Octopus restaurant
- Pandadroom (i use bumper cars)
- De bob (i use the Basilisk)
- Steenbok Restaurant.

Feel free of course to make any suggestions (in Dutch or English if you prefer)

Next update will be:
- Fata morgana (only facade / entrance / Fairy tale forest / Pardoes Promenade
later: Completing Spookslot / Fata morgana Ride

Remarks:
- Frogs are the only workshop items.
-The scale of the entrance area is not right, but suits me well enough.

Hereby another update d.d. 31-1-2017.

Despite my free days from work I have had less time then I hoped for.

Yet still managed to do some additional work.

- Pardoes Promenade is Finished
- Polles Keuken Pan cake restaurant added.
- Placed a lot of trees
- Fata Morgana building modified to suit the surroundings better.

Small update as of 6-2-2017 on my project Efteling

Started building the Fairytale Forest. This will be a large chunk of the park. De paths are just to wide (4m is minimum wich I don't like), and queue paths is not an option.
Because of this I noticed that my corner area with Dreamflight might be too small. So expect some off scaling here and there.

While working on the Fairytale Forest adjustments to the paths will be made to make it smaller so Dreamflght will fit. Maybe some sacrifices will be made to Raveleijn.

I already placed all the signs for the Fairytales and build Efteling's version of the Sleeping Beauty castle. However I think it is too big so this might change also. Wich could make most of my work from last week for nothing. I actually are not satisfied with how it sits now.

Update 7-2-2017

Completely rebuild, reshaped and replaced the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Made it smaller to fit better, saved some space as a bonus.
I think it is perfect now, on to the rest!

This time I worked on the Gnome Village. Which is almost done now,.

Tom Thumb is not fully build by me. It is made by a user named Demelza. He made some really nice Efteling Fairytale Forest Objects. However those are on a very large scale build. But Tom was absolutely perfect for my park.

I save all my pictures on Imgur, so whenever I have the need I can look back on my progress and be like. Yeah, this took some time.

But I really [heart] the game.
