Any chance of not having the game version on screen when playing? As long as we can see it in the boot process why does it need to be in game? In all the games I play I can't remember any that have the version number while in gameplay.
 
Will you guys ever implement a way to remove the grid on super cruise? Pretty annoying on systems with lots of planets and useless for the people that have been playing since beta

Just a short question - is there a proposed way to place a request for extension?

I think it would be very nice to have the number of players registered/active/online presented in the launcher application.
 
when I upgrade data.ovx fails to validate - anyone had the same or knows how to resolve?

This also used to happen to me.
Solved by restarting windows, disabling my antivirus and updating again.
Don't forget to re-enable your antivirus after the update.

Diagnostics to help understand if some bounties aren't being awarded

The only time I've noticed bounties not being awarded since 1.0 is when another human player was attacking the same target as me. I get the text in the info box saying I got the bounty, but the transaction tab never updates. The bounty loss has only happened twice, and another player shooting the target is the only thing both these events had in common.

One of the best Launches of an Online Game i have ever experienced!

[*]Fix one cause of infrequent disconnections during hyperspace when server load is high

Last Night I was on a 500 Ly trip out in the empty space and jumped all the way back. Those disconnects were not really infrequent and occured every 2nd jump.
 
Can't believe it been playing all through beta and gamma and loving every minute, ended up working away in London as of release day and can't get to play for at least a week,so jealous of everyone who is playing . Cheers devs sounds like you have done a great job. Good luck and just to let you know it is the best £50 I have ever spent. Thank you thank you thank you.
 
still no fix for all of us unable to launch the game ???!

We're not in beta anymore, it's a released game now, so can the devs please fix the priorities to make everyone who paid for this game able to play ?

You can add that to the list of fixes.

few disconects and at one stage such masive lag the docking request timed out twice.
giving up for a bit after doing a 20ly trade run, I was almost at the station to drop off cargo when I got disconected again, came back in at the midway point in my run and foolishly targeted my original start point instead of the drop point. docked and see a loss on the market for the cargo :(
 
Not gonna read 12 pages to see if it was asked/answered. Is this the "changelog" thread or only for this version? Could we have a changelog subforum with thread for each changelog from now on? If not, why not?

Word of advice. Don't try to belittle bugs by calling them rare and infrequent. It serves zero purpose and insults those who experience these infrequent things frequently I'd wager.

I had this problem, It was my Kaspersky Internet Protection stuff, disable it or whatever your anti virus and then try again, worked for me.

Okay, that's odd, because I went through the various stages never having to do that. I'll try, but I'm a tad skeptical if it turns out FD made a change where this is a requirement.
