Patch Notes Update Elite: Dangerous 1.3.02 incoming

Can you guys confirm that rank progression is fixed (ranking missions are spawning at all)?
After trauma of doing about 100 missions on the weekend and not getting any single one of rank progression opportunity mission I really wish to know before launching the game again...

I had a few progression missions offered since 1.3.1 so I think they work.

Ed, I am sure you are busy but any chance of a bit more of a scoop on what updating to the 0.5 SDK offers - (bearing in mind that SDK 0.6 is the current one).

That's where you hit the Supercruise keybinding twice and drop at your current location. Also when you get too close to a star/planet/asteroid I think that's classed as an emergency drop too.

It certainly isn't fixed for some of us, who have done well over 100 missions since 1.3 without getting a single rank progression mission.

if you've maxed out your influence for a faction at the station/system then move to another system and work for another faction for few missions. I find rotating around 2 or 3 systems helps get the ranking missions - once you've hit a high influence/whatever then they dry up. move on.
Also heard that dropping status with one (take other systems pirate missions to kill people in this system) and then doing some missions for them helps too.
don't get stuck in one place and mix and match the missions - do the ones for reputation gain, even donate some credits.

Most people have been running 0.5.0.1 for ED more or less since it came out, as it works fine, despite the game apparently being built against 0.4.x- there aren't massive external changes between the two. Do not install 0.6.x, as ED doesn't support it properly yet.

...still no word on selling cartographic data? Come on FD, that can't be hard to fix. I just want to sell my damn data and get on with my life. I was already out for TWO WEEKS mindlessly scanning neutron stars and now I can't do anything once I'm back. I've met so many people at the CG station alone who are in my boat, undoubtedly with many others elsewhere. Not to mention the flood of other exploration related bugs.

Very nice update 1.3,

i had massive disconnects while exploring, when it came out on friday/saturday. It got a little bit better after the 1.3.1 update.
Looking forward to the 1.3.2. release.
